Songist is a music player app for Chrome (it's a Chrome Packaged App) that works with music stored in your hard-drive or USB storage. It works offline.
It's been built using AngularJS, and makes use of many HTML5 APIs like IndexedDB, MediaGallery, etc.
Go to Chrome's Extension settings and click on "Load unpacked extension" pointing to this directory.
Just send your PR, and after reviewing it I'll quickly issue a new version to update the app published at the Chrome Web Store!
