Hi My name is Anand Padmanabhan

Backend Developer

👋 Hi there! I'm a software developer with 5+ years of professional experience in backend development and system architecture. I specialize in Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL and have hands-on experience with tools and technologies like Redis, Docker, Linux and Git. My work has focused heavily on building scalable backend systems, database architecture and workflow automation in high-throughput environments. In one of my major projects, I helped build and maintain a Warehouse Management System backend that integrated with client APIs and robotics systems, supported real-time sorting logic and enabled hardware strategy switching .Beyond the code I am interested in open-source communities and exploring how my backend and systems experience can be applied to areas like climate science, geoinformatics, and environmental systems.
