Hey, I'm dagonet

Software architect with roots in the 8-bit era. Got my first computer in 1983 -- a Commodore 64 -- and never looked back.

The Journey

1983  Commodore 64 — fell in love with BASIC
1987  Amiga 500 — the demo scene years
1990  First PC (386) — the real deal
1997  Diploma in Computer Science
1999  Freelance developer — C, then Java
2004  PhD in Computer Science - working with NNs
2004  Joined Siemens — Java, then .NET/C#
2014  Software Architect — and still going
2025  Discovered AI-assisted development with Claude Code

What I Build

  • Professional: Enterprise software architecture at Siemens / Yunex (.NET/C#)
  • Open Source: AI tooling, MCP servers, developer productivity tools
  • Side Projects: Games, utilities, and whatever catches my curiosity
