Backend Python Developer · Linux Infrastructure · Application Security (AppSec)
"Programming is not about typing, it’s about thinking." — Rich Hickey
I build backend applications with Python and deploy them on Linux infrastructure that I manage myself.
My projects combine backend development, containerized deployments, and application security. This allows me to work across the complete lifecycle of an application: development, deployment, maintenance, and security.
Alongside my personal projects, I continue strengthening my low-level programming skills in C through 42 Málaga, while expanding my knowledge in Application Security (AppSec) and DevSecOps practices.
| Domain | Technologies & Tools |

🌐 dguiza.dev — Technical Portfolio & Self-Managed Infrastructure
Technical portfolio built with Django and deployed on a Linux server that I administer using Docker and Nginx. It also serves as a knowledge base where I document projects, security labs, and infrastructure hardening.
Flask application designed to centralize write-ups, automation scripts, and technical documentation generated during security labs.
Backend application focused on modular architecture, authentication, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and transactional data management.
Personal laboratory based on virtualized Linux and Windows environments used to analyze vulnerabilities, evaluate defensive tools, and document reproducible security procedures.
- Build before optimizing: Deliver working, functional software before over-engineering.
- Security by Design: Integrate security practices throughout the development process, not as an afterthought.
- Document technical decisions: Documenting decisions and procedures consolidates knowledge and makes systems maintainable.
- Keep systems simple: Simple code and clean infrastructure are easier to audit, scale, and secure.
