Hi, I'm Xianggang

I'm a programmer, Gentoo Linux user, and Vim enthusiast.

Most of my professional work is backend development in Go, usually around MongoDB, data integration, and Linux. Outside of work, I enjoy Rust, shell scripts, editor plugins, and small command-line tools. I like software that is simple, composable, transparent, and easy to understand.

Things I Enjoy

  • Running, tuning, and occasionally breaking Gentoo
  • Living in Vim and writing plugins for the things I miss
  • Building backend services and tools in Go
  • Exploring databases, filesystems, and Unix-style workflows
  • Contributing to open source and learning how things work under the hood
