I began closer to the frontend, caring a lot about UI, performance, and accessibility, and eventually moved deeper into backend services and architecture.

Right now I spend my time building the product and weaving AI into it, turning APIs into features that make sense inside real workflows.

A few things I’ve worked on recently:

• Built retrieval pipelines (RAG) with LlamaIndex + vector search
• Improved TTS/STT latency from ~8–12s to ~2–4s by optimizing request handling and streaming
• Integrated AI capabilities directly into user-facing workflows
• Re-architected a Next.js monolith into FastAPI services with Neon Postgres

🎈 Fun fact: I spent many years in customer service and electronic music before working as a front-end dev.

Also comfortable with Node.js, Spring Boot, Redis, OpenAI APIs, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, and AWS.
