Small Steps public website repository contains the HTML introduction and privacy pages, not the Flutter application source.
I use ChatGPT, Claude and Codex for implementation assistance, debugging and exploring alternatives. AI generates a substantial part of the code; I do not present that as entirely hand-written work.
My responsibility is to:
- describe the intended behavior and constraints;
- question suggestions when they conflict with the product's purpose;
- reproduce issues with screenshots, examples and device feedback;
- review the resulting behavior and follow up when a fix does not solve the original problem.
For example, in Small Steps I questioned automatic calendar-to-goal conversion because flights and holidays are not necessarily growth tasks. In OzKoStage I requested a preview before merging a navigation change. These are the kinds of product decisions and feedback loops I can discuss in an interview.
I am continuing to build my ability to read generated code, explain data flow and verify changes independently. I welcome code review and mentoring in a junior role.
