>= is not a valid operator. Use ! a < b instead.

Problematic code:

[[ a >= b ]]

Correct code:

[[ ! a < b ]]

Rationale:

The operators <= and >= are not supported by Bourne shells. Instead of "less than or equal", rewrite as "not greater than".
