I’m a scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry (Jena, Germany). I’m investigating earth system models, coupling physical process based models with neural networks. The so called Hybrid Modelling approach. I’m also interested in open source, reproducible research and scientific visualization. And when I've time, I hike, eat and dance (more like jumping :D).
