    3.39.2 is out:

SQLite version 3.39.2 is now available on the SQLite website

    https://sqlite.org/index.html
    https://sqlite.org/releaselog/3_39_2.html

This release fixes several long-standing bugs, some of which could be considered security issues. The bugs will be difficult or impossible to exploit in most applications, so this is not an emergency, but you are advised to upgrade all the same, just to be on the safe side. These bugs have been in the code for a long time - they are not new to 3.39 - so you should go ahead and update even if you are using an older version of SQLite.

We should consider upgrading both bugfix and security branches.

@ambv: are you ok with bumping the SQLite versions in 3.9 and 3.8?
