๐Ÿ‘‹ Hi, Iโ€™m @paineleffler

๐Ÿ‘€ Iโ€™m interested in the future of the Web ๐Ÿ•ธ, design, & UX.

My Ongoing Projects ๐Ÿšง

My Website

Status: Active

These are my playgrounds for new ideas that I'm working on and learning. Currently this is a chat interface with LangChain, Gemini with some access to tools about my Strava activities and content from my resume. I've also built in tracking with a dashboard to help with insights into shared links.

Life

Status: Active

I've gotten fed up with Instagram, so I've made a photo life updates app for friends to view moments in a monthly view. The idea is that anyone can go about hosting their own, and invite their close ones to have access.

Portfolio Viewer

Status: Active

Since I've built a pretty robust photo viewer app above, I'm making a configuration change to it that will allow for it to be deployed as a simple portfolio viewer. Users can upload images by projects rather than by month if they choose. Comments and reactions will be removed for this mode but the same access management will be provided.

Paine MCP

Status: Active

A remote MCP server that lets AI assistants like Claude answer questions about me directly: my resume (as Markdown or PDF), my work and side-project portfolios, and my Strava activity totals and personal records. Add it to Claude with just the server URL and log in. Access is invite-only, and I can add people from a chat with an admin-only tool, gated by role. It's built on Auth0 (OAuth 2.1 with Client ID Metadata Documents), and runs on Fly.io with Cloudflare R2 for files.

MapWise Trivia

Status: Active

Building a map based trivia game that has a unique answering mechanism. I've been inspired to build this because I love trivia, but I also feel like I should be better at placing locations on a map. This idea will also come with a study mode to learn the locations of cities, countries and geographic features of the world.
