Simple dumb script to clean up a kali image to get it ready for cloning to physical machines (or I guess virtual machines, just add an extra line to ensure your hypervisor of choice's tools are installed), and assign a hostname based on its MAC at every boot. This was done for a security class for high school students to speed up deployment of this image as it is only a week long.
