Problem

On Android, the mobile composer never declared that it accepts images from the keyboard. Gboard delivers clipboard images, stickers and GIFs through InputConnection.commitContent and only offers that path when the field advertises image MIME types. The native composer editor only intercepted the paste menu action and never declared contentMimeTypes, so the keyboard treated it as text-only.

Change

SelectionAwareEditText.onCreateInputConnection now advertises image/* via EditorInfoCompat.setContentMimeTypes and wraps the connection with InputConnectionCompat.createWrapper. A committed image is accepted right away (after requesting the keyboard's temporary read grant when one is provided). A shared background executor then copies it, capped at 10 MB, into app-owned cache under the extension matching its MIME type and releases the grant. The resulting file URI goes through the existing pasteImagesListener, the same path the paste menu uses, on the main thread. Non-image content and a read-only composer are rejected.

Running them caught a real bug (View.post on a detached view never ran), fixed in the last commit.

What this shows and does not show:

On this emulator, main did not ignore the paste. Gboard fell back to the paste action, which the existing paste-menu path handled, and the image arrived re-encoded as a 5 KB JPEG. With this PR the keyboard commits the content directly and the original 134 KB PNG arrives. So the verified difference is original bytes and type preserved, not "nothing happens vs works".
I could not reproduce a complete failure to paste with this Gboard version. The failure in [Bug]: Android composer ignores images pasted from Gboard #17718 may depend on the keyboard version or device; I have not confirmed it on a physical phone, nor tested the sticker/GIF panels.
The "Failed to connect. Retrying" toast in the recordings is the local test server reconnecting and is unrelated.

Could you build and run the Android tests, then attach a short before/after recording of pasting an image from Gboard into the composer? The PR explicitly says neither the tests nor the device behavior was checked. The verification policy requires observed results for this interaction.
