Is there a way to compare two pools and delete from pool A only if duplicates exist in pool B
#1973
Is it possible to delete all files from pool 1 that have a duplicate in pool 2?
E.g. I have some files in C:\Users\me\Files
I also have some files in D:\RandomBackup\
Is it possible to delete files from D:\RandomBackup only if they exist in C:\Users\me\Files?
E.g:
If C:\Users\me\Files\Dir\Alice.jpg and C:\Users\me\Files\Dir2\Alice.jpg exist but D:\RandomBackup*\Alice.jpg does not exist, then no deletion.
If C:\Users\me\Files*\Bob.jpg does NOT exist, but D:\RandomBackup\Dir\Bob.jpg and D:\RandomBackup\Dir2\Bob.jpg exist, then no deletion.
If C:\Users\me\Files\Charlie.jpg exists, and D:\RandomBackup\Dir\Charlie.jpg and D:\RandomBackup\Dir2\Charlie.jpg exist, then delete both of the D drive instances (D:\RandomBackup*\Charlie.jpg)
Reference folders/files are the answer, this feature search for files, that are both in reference and in normal folders, and allows to delete files, that are outside of reference folders. In Krokiet you need to check "Ref" button next to directory
