A modernized version of the SWS Extension for REAPER, featuring enhanced UI components and improved user experience while maintaining full compatibility with the original functionality.
This project is a fork of the original SWS Extension by the REAPER community, developed under the MIT License which permits modification and redistribution. The goal is to bring modern interface design patterns and enhanced visual feedback to the powerful SWS toolset.
This modernized version introduces:
- Modern Playlist UI: Redesigned Region Playlist window with contemporary visual design
- Enhanced Theme Support: Automatic dark/light theme detection and adaptation
- Improved Visual Feedback: Better status indicators, progress visualization, and hover states
- Accessibility Improvements: Higher contrast ratios and clearer visual hierarchy
- Performance Optimizations: Efficient rendering and caching systems
The SWS extension is a collection of features that seamlessly integrate into REAPER, the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software by Cockos, Inc. It has been developed and maintained by the REAPER community since 2009.
