Yo! I'm Shams Tabrez Ahmed.

I am a Computer Engineering student from Mumbai interested in backend systems, Rust, Linux, and cybersecurity.

Most of my projects are built in my journey to learn, experiment, and understand how real systems work. I generally prefer building things that gradually become more challenging rather than chasing large technology stacks, or superficial sense of self.

  • Building Vigilant: A secure messaging platform based on the Matrix ecosystem.
  • Learning Rust: through real projects and open-source contributions.
  • Rebuilding my Computer Science fundamentals through DSA.
