Freelance Software Engineer · Pune, India
Sole contractor for a multi-venue ice cream and food concessions operator. I own delivery end to end — scoping, architecture, deployment, maintenance.
Private codebases, client names withheld. Happy to walk through any of these on a call.

The financial and production estate of a multi-venue ice cream and food concessions operator.
- Unified reconciliation across the operator's sales, supplier and settlement data — invoice handling from 15 minutes to under 2, a 6x throughput gain returning 30–40 finance hours a month.
- Reporting the operator can close the books on — per-cap, margin and forecast figures now agree across every source that feeds them.
- Runtime venue and module configuration — opening a new venue is a 30-second toggle, not a release cycle, and reversible.

A regional business directory — public listings, paid subscription placements, donations and a blog CMS.
- Migrated the whole directory off WordPress — all 140 business listings moved onto the new stack with nothing dropped, replacing a site the client could no longer grow.
- AI-assisted business discovery — finding and vetting candidates for the directory went from open-ended manual research to a reviewed shortlist, so the directory grows without the editorial team growing with it.
- Self-service for business owners — the routine changes owners used to email about are now handled by owners themselves, worth 40–60% support deflection.

A history and culture archive on the web. It preserves local knowledge — food, healing, dialect, music, ancestry — in the voices of the elders, cooks and herbalists who hold it, and in the recordings families make on their behalf.
- Layered media makes it an archive, not a forum — audio, transcript, photographs and video sit on a single entry, and the dialect is preserved as spoken rather than corrected into standard English.
- A live feed, not a museum — people post, follow, like and comment; the archive is the by-product of an active community rather than a static collection.
- Offline-first — the whole archive runs with no network at all, which also takes contributor onboarding from 2–5 days to a single command.

A rebuild of the site for a US third-party logistics (3PL) provider that stores, picks, packs and ships freight for other brands. Its only job is getting brands and carriers into the sales funnel.
- WordPress rebuilt to sub-2-second load — the band Google ties to conversion lifts up to 27%, and 8.3% more form submissions per 0.1s saved on lead-gen pages.
- Core Web Vitals as shipping gates — 90+ Lighthouse, LCP under 2.5s, CLS under 0.1, INP under 200ms.
- Three qualified lead paths — a warehouse-space calculator, carrier signup and a brand onboarding programme, each landing pre-qualified in the client's CRM.
