Archive of underground / hacking zines, preserved as plain UTF-8 text. Two collections:

• portuguese/ — Brazilian (Portuguese) scene zines. 47 titles, 325 files.
• english/ — English-language scene classics (Phrack, LOD/H, cDc, CuD, 40Hex, uXu, NIA, Phantasy, ...). 18 titles, 3412 files.

Multi-article editions keep each article as its own .txt. Older DOS-era zines were transcoded to UTF-8 from their original code pages (CP437/CP850 for DOS/ANSI-art issues, CP1252 for Windows-era ones), preserving box-drawing art and accents.

Where a file was transcoded, the raw original is kept next to it as <name>.txt.orig (verbatim source bytes in the legacy encoding). Files that were already UTF-8/ASCII have no .orig sibling.

This is a historical and educational archive. Some editions — especially the virus-writing and exploit zines (40Hex, NuKE, NARC, Phrack, ...) — embed period security tooling, proof-of-concept code, and a few decades-old DOS/Windows executables as uuencoded attachments, preserved verbatim as part of the original issues. As stored they are inert text, target long-obsolete platforms, and are kept solely for research, preservation, and education. Nothing here is provided for malicious use.
