What happened to @trimstray?
Posting this since I've seen a lot of recent PRs go unanswered and there is no other easy method to communicate with the community.
Long story short, @trimstray is no longer maintaining /the-book-of-secret-knowledge.
While this can be inferred by a lack of any significant activity from his account for many years, I've confirmed as such via direct contact.
I reached out via gmail listed on GH account, and did not receive a response there.
I did finally receive a response to X/Twitter DM as shown below.
What does this mean for contributors?
Do not expect any PR approval or review on the original repo. Many PRs have sat for months if not years with no activity.
What's Next?
Since I am fond of this community and resource and want to continue where Michal left off, I've forked the repo and begun a massive refactor/cleanup of all the listed resources.
Check my JK_Revisions Branch.
On the repo, I've enabled Issues/Discussions and created a handful of starter issues if anyone is interested in contributing.
I am still the only maintainer, and working on this as a side-project for fun. but I will do my best to review and approve PRs if I feel they are relevant or necessary.
I recommend everyone check the Issues list for priority items that need to be worked on.
