NeatXQL Studio is a blazing-fast, 100% offline desktop utility built for enterprise developers.
When working in secure environments, pasting proprietary database queries, sensitive JSON payloads, or private configuration files into random online formatters is a massive security risk. NeatXQL solves this by providing a premium, native Windows toolkit that never sends your data to the cloud.
Stop manually writing DECLARE statements to test legacy inline queries. The SQL Sanitizer uses Microsoft's official ScriptDom engine to parse raw text into an Abstract Syntax Tree (AST). It automatically formats the query, extracts all @parameters, guesses their SQL data types (e.g., DATETIME, BIT, INT), and generates an SSMS-ready executable script.
SQL_Sanitizer.mp4
Instantly format, validate, or minify massive JSON payloads. Built on System.Text.Json and AvalonEdit, it can handle enormous API responses without freezing the UI thread.
JSON.mp4
Easily format and minify complex XML configuration files or SOAP responses with instant syntax highlighting and validation.

This project was built with a strict focus on modern Windows desktop development practices:
- Framework: .NET 8 (LTS)
- UI/UX: WPF-UI to implement the Windows 11 Fluent design system (Mica backdrops, modern typography, rounded corners).
- Pattern: Strict MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) using the
CommunityToolkit.Mvvmsource generators to eliminate boilerplateINotifyPropertyChangedcode. - Text Engine: AvalonEdit for high-performance syntax highlighting, line numbering, and large-file handling.
- SQL Parsing Engine:
Microsoft.SqlServer.TransactSql.ScriptDomfor true structural code analysis rather than fragile Regex matching.
- Visual Studio 2022 (Version 17.8 or later)
- .NET 8.0 SDK
