My name is Soubhik Gon (/ˈʃoʊ.bɪk/), and I graduated in Information Technology from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bhubaneswar, batch of 2026.
I'm interested in computer systems, distributed systems, networks, operating systems, storage, databases and cloud infrastructure. In particular, I've worked on distributed and real-time systems, microservices, observability, CI/CD, fault tolerance, backend infrastructure, and cloud-native applications.
I currently work at Nasuni, where my work involves storage systems, performance, and file protocols.
I enjoy exploring different programming languages and paradigms, reading and contributing to systems code, and learning how software works across different layers of the stack. During university, I was also involved with the Programming Society (PSOC), where I worked on projects, discussed ideas, and took technical sessions.
Outside of computers, I like movies, travelling, chess, and football.
