Hi, I'm Bora (zarboq) 👋

Backend engineer — Rust & distributed systems, focused on Web3 infrastructure. I build execution engines, VM internals, and low-latency systems where correctness is not optional.

🛠️ What I've built

  • Co-founded Zohal — a perpetuals DEX on Starknet. Built the on-chain trading backend in Rust: execution engine, transaction ordering, risk engine, and automated liquidations.
  • Cairo VM contributor.
  • On-chain liquidation engine (Rust) — parallel on-chain polling via RPC, off-chain replication of protocol math, same-block execution. $2M+ liquidated autonomously.
  • 🥇 1st place, inaugural Hyperliquid hackathon — a delta-neutral hedging system tracking exposure and rebalancing across venues.

Also: real-time on-chain indexer (WebSocket/Kafka/ClickHouse, C++ hot path ~5,000x latency cut), VRF primitives on Linea (Consensys), DeFi vaults (CoinShares).
