This repository is the home for my chemistry recipes. Its name is after the Mesopotamian polymath Abū Yūsuf Yaʻqūb ibn ʼIsḥāq aṣ-Ṣabbāḥ al-Kindī known as the "Philosopher of the Arabs" in the 9th century, he wrote The Book of the Chemistry of Perfume and Distillations. He isolated hundreds of aromatic oils, materials, and juices, laying the foundational chemical groundwork for modern extraction and early perfume creation.
