Stage 3 DAK project

 Hi guys

Continuing on with my friends DAK project, I have completed (only to the undercoat, he will do his own painting) all the field kitchens, mounted with built superstructure, mounted with no superstructure and towed, all base on the Opel 3.6t or Ford V3000, I re designed the superstructure version to have the roof seperate to make it easier to paint the stove.

Part 2 Portuguese African colonial wars project, mine roller

 Hi guys

I saw a couple of pics post on one of my FB pages of interesting vehicles, so I thought I would make them up for my friends AK47 Portuguese African colonial wars project, a quad .50cal mounted on a Berliet truck, the quad is a file from ANERDSNERD from cults3D, converted to fit on my Berliet, and a mine roller that I designed, it’s designed to fit onto the front of any of the various vehicles used in this role, the test prints printed nice in 15mm, I’ll get them painted up next week.

Part 1, 15mm Portuguese African colonial wars project

 Hi guys

A friend has tasked me with fulfilling a large, long planned15mm AK47 Portuguese African colonial wars project, it includes 5 factions and requires me 3D print the vehicles and some of the infantry, some of which I needed to design/convert/improve in CAD, as I finish each part I will do a post.

Here I have a Portuguese Alouette III helicopter and 2 Berliet GBC trucks, the heli is a 3D print I bought from David Michael Freemantle off the Rhodesian bush wars models FB page, I CAD design the Berliet trucks (STL is available at my wargaming3D shop) these trucks were tough, and were used at the head of conveys to detonate mines, hence the removal of the windscreen and the sandbag placement to better protect the crew, I made the sandbags with putty.

Laffly V15R and Opal/Ford V3000 field kitchen

 Hi guys

I have been having a long running discussion with a friend regarding various French soft skins used by the 21st Pz Div in Normandy, much is to be speculated, but occasionally you come across pictorial evidence of 1 vehicle or another, and my friend provided this picture of a Laffly V15R being used as a command car, so I took the opportunity to make 1, the good thing about doing the 21st is I can also use some of the vehicles in my 1940 French project, so I have done 1 test print as a 21st vehicle the other as a French one. Also pictured are a Ford V3000 and Opal blitz field kitchens I made for my customers DAK project, I’ll paint a couple of these up for myself, and will show more of them then, I am redesigning those vehicles so the roof will be seperate allowing for better access to paint the stove.
