Test camo 10th Lyran guards

 Hi guys

Another shelf queen finished, I usually like colourful mechs, but wanted to do a unit in camo, so he is a camo test, this guy is the first of my 10th Lyran guards, I’ll do a couple of lances worth, he’s pictured with mechs of the 24th Lyran guards in the traditional blue/white, he is an Iron wind metal Fafnir, I really like the look of this mech, one of my favourites.

Test Rasalhague paint schemes

 Hi guys

Another 2 shelf queens finished, I plan on doing free Rasalhague republic forces in both my 6mm and 15mm Battletech projects, I’ve started in 6mm first to test out the colour scheme, 15mm is a lot more work so it’s easier testing in 6mm first, this scheme is based on the MW5 Rasalhague livery, which is my favourite of all the MW5 colour schemes, I’m tossing up a few names for this unit, the 1st Gunzburg Huskarls, the 1st Gunzburg Hirdmen or the 1st Gunzburg Bondsmen, this last one might be used if I decide on the origins of the unit being a surrendered Kurita unit now bonded under Rasalhague command, thoughts on the names? Any other suggestions? I’m looking at doing 4 of each weight class for this project.

24th Lyran guards lance finished

 Hi guys

The first target of operation “shelf queen” have been taken down, finished this lance of Steiner mechs, in Lyran guard (24th) livery, next up another 4 shelf queens, the green atlas II will be jade falcon, the other 3 are random, I might change one of the teal/red mechs, I think they were originally going to be a merc company, but I may give the flashman to my Rasalhague force, the Crocker can be a merc, the Fafnir in camo is a very cool looking mech, I like that design a lot, I’ll leave it camoed.

Steiner lance WIP 1

 Hi guys

I have so many large projects, across multiple genres and scales on the go, I feel like I’m getting bogged down and need some quick wins, so I’m going to finish of some stuff from my shelf of shame, first up a lance of Steiner mechs, all Iron Wind metals, first pics are how they were left sitting on the shelf in their base coats, last pics are after a couple of hours work today, in this group are an Atlas, Atlas III, Uziel and a gallant, I really like some of these older metal mechs.
