Paint Party Friday art for this week

The first one is a watercolor, a scene from my dining room,
which is now my art room, of the snow covered trees and
ground out front. I couldn't find my Frisket so the lines aren't
as straight as they should be. The second photo is of a freehand
watercolor painting I did while doing art Wednesday with my
friend Masayo, who is learning to watercolor. I have made
it into a greetings card to send to someone. These are my
entries for Paint Party Friday this week.

Today's Snow

Looks like a good day to stay inside. The above photo is from
this morning's snowfall. The header photo is from last year.

Paternal Grandmother - Late 1890s

Instead of submitting a painting this week, I am offering
this portrait of a wee Victorian era lass for you to use
in your own art. Since my grandmother's name is on the
back of the picture, I think it may have been taken when
she was a toddler. This is for Paint Party Friday. If you
decided to use it somehow,  I'd like to see what you do.

In case I'm wrong about the era, and I could very well be,
let me know. This is on the back side of a post card so
it could be in the very early 20th century years. At any
rate, I am impressed by the very beautiful dress she has on.

Paint Party Friday January 16

I didn't do a lot of painting or crafts this week as I
am trying to get papers together to file my taxes.
I painted this watercolor of a made-up flower and
I am entering it in the Paint Party Friday challenge.

Word Art Wednesday

I have entered this watercolor in Word Art Wednesday.
The gray looking areas are actually white. I don't know
why they appear gray on my screen.

Paint Party Friday - more acrylics

This turned out better than I thought. I started this in
the Saturday class and finished it at home. Or maybe
it isn't quite finished. I'll take it with me to the next
class and see. Those weird little white dots are not white
but are silver dauber prints. In real life they aren't as weird
or as prominent. This is my entry for this week's PPF.
The red leaf stamp is one I borrowed from Jo, who had
hand cut it from a rubber eraser.
