I ordered a gift to be delivered on Saturday and paid extra for a. Saturday delivery,it did not arrive until Monday
I did get a refund of the postage but quite a blase apology.I should have ordered from Amazon they deliver on time.

Had a wonderful experience in Hotel Chocolate Banbury over the weekend. My hot chocolate was to die for and the staff were so lovely and friendly. Couldn’t help but notice how clean and well stocked the cafe and shop looked also. Can’t wait to go back!

I purchased a Velvetiser last week and on the 2nd use it has tripped my fuse box, made a LOUD popping noise and it has left a strong electrical smell!!

We have recently started visiting the store in the Wimbledon Quarter in Wimblefon. Why not ever before !! The staff are amazing, the service exemplary and the quality of the goods and drinks on offer is wonderful. Keep it up , and a big well done to all the staff 👍👍👍

I placed an order online however it was not delivered within the timescale. It arrived at the wrong delivery depot, at that point it was 17 miles away from me. It was then returned to the Midlands! Absolute fiasco. Offered small compensation and to get the items in time as it was a gift I had to drive 30 miles, take 45 minutes each way and pay for paying or join Amazon Prime and pay a higher price! Honestly customer service needs to think about their policy. Also I then would have to wait for the items to be sent bar to them before they would eventually refund me. Clearly it’s been a mess from the beginning to the end and the customer bears the brunt of it!

The one in Westwood wood cross has locked all men and women’s toilets leaving one disabled toilet. Hotel chocolat has a seating of more than 25 people therefore one toilet is a huge inconvenience. The manager doesn’t appear to listen or address customers concerns. This is also not allowed according to Thanet council.

I’ve just visited my local Hotel Chocolat store to buy a gift for a friend who recently helped me out, and I know she loves the brand.

To say I’m shocked and disappointed is an understatement.

I bought 3 Selectors, which I haven’t purchased since last Christmas, and I was genuinely surprised at how much smaller they seem to be. Almost £15 for three measly packs of chocolate and a bag feels excessive.

Then, when paying, I was asked if I was a VIP customer (which I am — although I’m still not sure what difference that actually makes!) and was charged 20p for a bag that I didn’t ask for.

I also own a Velvetiser, but I’m now seriously considering selling it on Vinted. The sachets have gone up in price while also appearing to have gone down in weight since last year. What used to feel like an affordable little treat now feels completely out of reach.

I appreciate that prices and costs increase, but when you’re paying significantly more and receiving less, it leaves a very sour taste — especially from a brand I’ve happily bought from before.

My friend will absolutely love her chocolates, but sadly this will be my last purchase from Hotel Chocolat. At these prices, I simply don’t feel the products offer the value they once did.

Very disappointed. Never again for me, I’m afraid.

Spoke to a very helpful customer advisor called Chelsea who handled my query very professionally. Organised a replacement Velvitiser to be delivered via express delivery next day. Cannot fault the customer service I received.

I bought a box of dark chocolate on sale that expires in two months. The chocolate has sugar bloom and is gritty in texture. I sent photos, and they said that since it's on sale, they can't do anything. Even though it's still supposed to be good for two months.

Not high quality anymore, going like Cadburys, sickly sweet and not chocolaty and 25% less for a 25% increase in price. Waiting for them to be named 'chocolate flavoured ' soon due to the cocoa content being so low.

Cannot praise the Silverburn Glasgow Hotel Chocolate enough. The delicious chocolate they sell is a given, but the customer service is next level. I regularly take my 89 year old mum in for coffee and the staff particularly Kirsteen and a/m Kyle always remember us and make a point to speak to us. It’s come to the point it feels more like catching up with friends. Despite this they never ignore other customers and the shop runs like a well oiled machine.

The new deal on buy 3 mix/match chocolates that single price is £4.65 and if you buy 3 (the deal breaker) is exact the same amount as if you buy 3 individually £13.95 😂

Great tasting chocolates , fast delivery and arrived in perfect condition , they all taste amazing loved the Whisky and Rum flavour and the salted caramel is delicious. I love the dark chocolate range but I must say I tried the white chocolate with lemon curd absolutely delicious.

Our Velvetiser is around 5 years old but is not volumising the drink like it used to. We were in the store spending our birthday treat and mentioned this about our Velvetiser. Apologies I’ve forgot her name however she took our details and offered to contact their customer service dept on our behalf and told us they would communicate with me directly through my email.

Within a couple of days Suzanna from Customer Services contacted us to request our details so she could send us a free whisk replacement. I was over the moon but then Suzanne sent a further email informing us it would be sent free of charge with next day delivery.

I have to hand it to Hotel Chocolat not do they sell the best Chocolat on the market but there after care is amazing.

The staff in this shop are always great. Very helpful and friendly especially Kaytlin and Lydia. I bought a velvetiser, extra mugs and sachets on Friday. They are very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to my husband and I.
It was a lovely experience.

This is the start of a long sad decline = palm oil up - chocolate qulaity DOWN

Quavers Eyebrows was really helpful. poured a really nice ice cream and samples

I have to commend the fantastic service I received from.the nicest staff member at Stratford Westfield branch Nicholas who helped us so much and was so kind and lovely. His recommendations and helpful.nature made out visit so easy and special .

We will definately be back ro enjoy the lovely ice cream of the gods which BTW is delicious and also the Eton Ness which we love!!!

Subscription can’t be paid for as received a new credit card. Cannot find anywhere on the app where I can update my payment details. Every time I seem to get to the correct area all I can do is buy more goods!!!!! Wife very distressed as this subscription for this overpriced tatt is for her. Maybe it’s a nice drink but website built by morons
