HousingAnywhere immediately made a good…

HousingAnywhere immediately made a good entrance into the renting market for me. As an Erasmus Student the only thing I knew about the housing market in Dublin was, that there was a big Problem with Scammers. I didn´t have that problem on this Website. Everything felt legit and the communication with the house owner went well.
The only thing that I have to criticise is that the pictures on the Website only reflected a bit to the living experience in my new home. Most of the Pictures where already a bit old and didn´t reflect the current establishement at a 100%. But it was all still fully acceptable.
I had a very good experience with my Landlady Marisela.

Amazing Stay in a Wonderful Apartment with a Truly Exceptional Host

I’m currently staying in this fantastic apartment, and it’s been an incredible experience so far. The host, Patricia, is an absolute treasure – kind, with a heart of gold. She’s incredibly helpful, friendly, and very approachable, always available to answer questions or offer assistance.

Her warm nature, empathy, and flexibility truly stand out, making everything smooth and stress-free. Whether it was adjusting check-in times or ensuring I had everything I needed, she’s been incredibly accommodating.

The apartment is spotless, beautifully decorated, and in a great location. It has exceeded all my expectations. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay with a host who genuinely cares about her guests, this is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!

Bad user experience and apartment found in not a good condition

I found an apartment with them but their app makes all the talking with the landlord so slow and complicated. They guarantee that the apartment is in good condition but in my case it wasn’t at all and they don’t allow you to check it before closing the deal. 48h for a refund isn't enough protection.

Fantastic experience

It sounds fantastic, but I managed to find an amazing apartment in Barcelona within 1-2 weeks from the first try, taking into account how difficult it is in Spain.
Maybe it is luck, maybe it is a good web service.

The site is legit, but some hidden fees

The website is legit and safe. My place looked exactly like the pictures.I was looking for a room and I got it in two days.
The booking experience was great and the registristration + paying was fast.
With that in mind, what I do not like is the hidden fees AFTER you book the place. be careful. you endup paying like 2% of your rent as a fee each month for the "protection fee" or something like that.

DO NOT MAKE A BOOKING WITH THIS…

DO NOT MAKE A BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY!! Before I made the booking and moved to Spain I contacted the housinganywhere to ask about the reviews written about the landlord as they were really bad and I was very skeptical, they said to me that tenants tend to lie because they don’t get their deposit back. How can someone say this about their customers? I still went ahead with the booking and when I got here they told me there’s no room for me even though I paid 600€ they couldn’t make sure that there was a room available for me! I didn’t have anywhere else to go, the landlord offered me another room in really bad conditions, very damp with a BROKEN door. I couldn’t stay there as it didn’t feel safe and I had to get a hotel. Housinganywhere first said they won’t give me a refund and I had to chase them and the landlord for a refund.

Please for your safety do not take the risk and book with this company. Be aware that there are so many companies like this profiting from it.

Experience with HousingAnywhere

It made much easier to find an apartment in Berlin for my firsts month of stay, also, really helpful to know that I could trust house anywhere if something was going wrong during the move in process.

The communication was terrible

The communication was terrible. I don’t recommend using Housing Anywhere or Joana. On my first day, they canceled my check-in, forcing me to spend the night in an expensive hotel. The next day, after finally checking in, I discovered bedbugs all over the house. I contacted the landlord through email and various phone numbers, but they refused to respond. All my roommates were leaving the house because of the bedbugs. They also refused to refund my deposit or rent.

When I spoke to my roommates and others who had dealt with Quart Quartos, Housing Anywhere, or Joana, they shared similar bad experiences, with claims of money being unfairly taken from students. After two weeks, I still hadn't heard back from them, and no refunds were issued. I even provided pictures of the bedbugs in the house, which they refused to acknowledge.

I had to search for a new room and discovered that the office I tried to visit doesn’t even exist. I strongly recommend avoiding them. Instead, use platforms like Idealista or other reliable options.

Loved my stay here!

I loved my stay with Anca! Communication was super and she responded to any messages or requests very quickly. The apartment is very close to everything you could possibly need in Cologne. There are muliple shops, resturants, gyms, and train stations easily in walking distance, making the location very convenient.

The room and apartment are exactly as described. The room is large with plenty of closet space, a desk, and a huge comfortable bed. All bed linens and towels were included. The kitchen and bathroom are large and well equiped with everything you could need. The refrigerator is large and there is even an oven! Just bring your suitcase and move in.

Highly recommend staying here or any apartment offered by Anca. She is a wonderful landlord, very friendly and a pleasure to spend time with.

Perfect place

Perfect place! So close to the sea, the city and all you need. Bregetta is a wonderful person and I feel so comfortable and welcome! I love my little place of peace, thankfully with a bit of a seaview right now because a big building in front of my window was pulled down.

Beautiful apartment and very kind landlord

The apartment is nicer and bigger as on the pictures. It is also very clean and well renovated. The neighbourhood is great with all anemities. The Landlord Pamela and her husband are very kind people. They gave us all informations about the neighbourhood.

Terrible experience

I had a terrible experience. When I arrived the building and the room didn't look like in the pictures. The house was incredibly dirty and lacked of basic furniture which I had to buy. I tried to reach out to both housinganywhere and Habyt and no one answered, I feel conoletely abandoned. Furthermore all the rooms in the apartment require the same key to open so it could be highly unsafe.

Scam!!

You pay 300 euros for their service, they promise a lot of things. But when there’s a problem they’re not going to help you!!!
On their site there’s is a lot of false information, just a scam.
Never use this site!!!

Housing Anywhere is a great platform

Housing Anywhere is a great platform and it helps when it comes to finding a place to stay. When it comes to longer stays though it is not optimal, since the landlord maintains the right to cancel the booking without an indemnity. I would totally recommend using the platform. One proposal would be for the users to be able to reply to open conversations even after the expiration of the subscription.

I booked a private room

I booked a private room, paid the deposit and tenant protection fee. Unfortunately my Visa appointment has been delayed and I will no longer be able to occupy my residence for the first month.
Your policies should change, not everyone can throw away 1000usd because of a situation out of their control.
My landlord won’t change my date and if I cancel my booking she takes all the money. I don’t think that’s fair. I am only a school student. I didn’t think my appointment would be delayed, I don’t have a Visa yet and I needed a secure place to stay.Be kinder and more realistic about your policies.

After you have completed a booking with an advertiser, you have 24 hours to change your mind. If you decide to cancel your booking during this time, no questions are asked and you get back your first month's rent! After this period, you need to refer to your cancellation policy.

Excellent Room – Highly Recommended!
