Well done Yodel

I have a regular delivery. The Yodel driver always turns up during the quoted delivery slot. The parcels are always in good condition and the driver always takes the time to close my porch door properly.

Driver was friendly and polite

Driver was friendly and polite. He helped by handing me the box after taking the photo, so I didn't need to bend down to get it (heavily pregnant so not easy!). I appreciated this.

Well done Driver!

It was very good to meet a delivery driver who could be bothered to bring the package to my flat door. Usually this easy task seems to be far too complicated for the average driver to work out. Well done sir, and thank you very much!

I usually give 5 stars but this time…

I usually give 5 stars but this time the driver didn't even give me time to get to the door. He saw my neighbour coming home and had passed my parcel to her. And didn't take it back to give me even though I'd opened my door. He also didn't close my gate even though he could hear that I had a dog. There are quite a few steps up to my gate which I struggle with but I had to go up them to close the gate he'd left open.

"x number of stops until you" countdown procedure.

Appalling as always.

As always, my instructions were ignored. Last few parcels left on a public stairwell. Saying attempted delivery, yet nobody came. The chat service is also a joke. Some absolute weirdo asking if I prefer tea or coffee to start a conversation while I waited. I said I preferred my parcels to be delivered. What a joke.

Very polite and friendly

Very polite and friendly, takes photo of holding parcel, not like some other delivery services, leaving on doorstep to be stolen, then saying delivered 😉

Absolutely pathetic

Absolutely pathetic, delivery date of 17 was assured by seller then Yodel took over. Didn't arrive as promised, tried contacting them and what a disaster that was, cannot speak to a real person. Found out that item had arrived at my local depot (8 miles away) on the 16th today is the 19th and still no Comms. I have now cancelled my order with the seller (Homebase), why on earth they use such an unreliable courier is beyond me. I have never had anything but unprofessional dealings with Yodel. Avoid them at all costs. Unbelievably their logo is 'Yodel deliver promises' shame they don't deliver parcels!!

Excellent customer service, directed the driver to collect from my porch. I spoke via ring doorbell and the driver was polite and respected my property.

Driver left parcel in plain view in…

Driver left parcel in plain view in front of the door, not in my safe place or with a neighbour as requested. He didn't even attempt to ring the bell to see if anyone was in. I only knew it was there because I saw it on the Ring camera whilst I was at work and was able to arrange for someone to take it in for me. Otherwise anybody walking past could have taken the parcel. He seemed more interested in getting away to finish his rounds as quickly as possible rather than ensuring the parcel was actually delivered safely. Disgraceful behaviour that is all too common with delivery drivers now, a horrible habit that crept in during covid and has not been addressed since. Lazy, lazy, lazy!!!

Hi Wayne, I understand that your parcel was left outside in an unsafe place and it should have been left at a safe place as per Yodel's standard safe place policy. I am sorry to hear about your experience so far and the driver should have been more responsible to follow the correct delivery method and follow the Yodel's safe place guidelines.
