I liked the art style and animation in terms of character design, enemy design and 2D-3D-blend. The sound worked, although it didn't do a ton for me, personally, just providing feedback to my inputs, which is fine by me.

What I really didn't get was the idea of gameplay behind it: I could reasonably easy evade any enemies and there was the hint about blue fog, which presumably helped, but it was hard to tell, whether this was because of me running away or the fog obscuring me. I didn't find any clues whatsoever in regards to the combinations, so I just brute-forced all of them (which, admittedly, wasn't that hard). I am not sure if this is because I didn't see any clues or there weren't any.

Are there any consequences to being hit by enemies? It seemed like there was some sort of hp loss and re-fill at the green spots, maybe, but it never actually came into play.

Also: I reached the first floor, tried to get past the barricade of bones and glitched through the floor to my (presumably) death.

Cool game. good job. :D

Nice art. I liked the sprite of the protagonist. The gameplay felt a bit repetitive as other said, also the camera being so zoomed in I was not able to see the monsters approaching and was a bit uncomfortable.  Keep the hard work on!

Very cute characters and I thought the idea of the creatures chasing you being people you know was a cool detail. I definitely made sure to stop at every computer to catch the whole story, but wasn't sure what the captcha codes were for. Overall good job, fun game!

Developer(+2)

Thank you!!! :) The captcha mechanic allowed access to areas that were blocked by boxes! We were missing some kind of indicator to make this clearer.

I really like the art of the characters and the animations! I got to the 1st floor and I can say it is not a bad game jam game! I do wish the gameplay was less repetitive but the story and the main character hooked me on finishing it :3
Really good job on finishing it!

Loved the animation, the art vibe was cute, and getting chased was very unsettling. There were a few glitches that actually made it sort of fun to experiment with, I love when a game has a couple oversights that can make the experience a lil more interesting. Nice work!

1th floor lol. I also brute forced every door lock code.

This art style is so fun!
The gameplay was admittedly fairly repetitive. Also, the enemies were not much of a threat.
I did, however, really enjoy the mix of 2D and 3D assets. This style has so much potential.

Fixed camera perspective seems interesting at first, but becomes annoying later. It is not scary not to see an enemy, it's infuriating.

Also, they can charge through walls.

The puzzle was confusing at first, I had no other choice but to brute forced, I think that's the puzzle's intention. The camera angle captured such good aesthetics, but also mixed visibility advantages, because it can't rotate.

The code for the puzzle are around the map, we know that this is not clear, thanks for the feedback!

The art for this game was quite nice. I'm not sure if I was missing something but were the elevator codes told to us anywhere or did we just have to brute force them?

Developer(+2)

The codes are scattered around the map, you need to find them. Thanks for the feedback! We will fix that gameplay issue!

I like the player movement. It feels really good. and the whole game is pretty interesting.

I’ll echo the other commenters and say that your art for this game is wonderful! I do think it would have benefited from a little more narrative direction and some proofreading, but this is an impressive project for a one-week game jam.

I really like the art choice and the overall atmosphere!

It was phenomenally fine. The art is probably the best part of the game. All of the puzzles however feel more like brute forcing the entire game than memory/logic puzzles. There were a few spelling/grammar errors here and there but that doesn't really matter too much. I think the maps were okay enough, they didn't do anything spectacular. The camera angle was a little restrictive, but the way the game was laid out compensated for that.

The game character is well animated. I like the style, similar to backrooms.
