How does the game fit the theme?
The game every 5 rounds will ask you for a challenge where you can get better rewards, however, the enemies in that round will be very strong. Therefore you are risking your progress for possible better rewards. There also exist a card in the game which is a biscuit that you can find in those challenge rounds.

None, all code and assets are made from scratch except from music.

A pretty enjoyable game!
I do wish the bullets could be shot automatically instead of making the player spam click the lmb, and although you did use the theme pretty well, I feel like the idea of making a survivors style game isn't innovative enough.
Other than that, I enjoyed my time!

It was a good game. I really liked the art of the game, but the “Challenge Round” was too much for the player’s strength at that stage.

Very challenging. I like the progression and card picks. Those white skeletons with the projectiles were the challenge every round. Worth the risk rounds with legendary picks. Well done!

Wonderful idea, especially for a jam game! The quality is excellent and the gameplay feels so smooth and exciting! Animations and sound design were also top-tier. The challenge rounds were way too difficult and the could use some difficulty balancing but overall very good game and easy top 10 candidate!

Great game! Having a location to wander around while playing ‘shoot them all’ feels fresh for me. Rarely see such a combo in the jams. Having some loot to pick up appearing here and there would make it even better. I made it until round 5. Before that, it was kind of chill, but then I was suddenly ambushed by a host of zombies. And each of them required two hits to kill, so I’ve been overwhelmed.

love me a good roguelike. Overall feels really polished and has the vampire survivors or brotato gamestyle. the movements and spells feel good. Like others said, it would be good to have some visual boundaries so im not caught off guard when I can no longer move off to the side and be swarmed by the enemies. Progression did feel a bit slow towards the middle, I feel like things can really ramp up and I can start shooting crazy beams of light through my eyes would be cool. I think just tweaking a few things and adding some more features would make this game even better. Great job on the game and congrats on the submission!

This is a great rogeulike. I appreciate the minimal graphics and the difficulty curve is very fair. It wasn't clear to me at first that I could walk on the grass. Then I was confused when I hit the upper bounds of the level (grass) and couldn't walk there. Perhaps some level boundary visual indicators would help?

Cool game, great to see another wizard rogue-like haha. I like how the upgrades have rarity and the challenge round adds that red filter. Couple bits of feedback: I'm not sure the mana system added much, just meant I had to wait around every now and then. Maybe if there was another attack type that required mana a bit like in Hades 2? I occasionally saw reward screens with all the same rewards. Also it would be nice if the health and mana bars reset to max at the start of the round as they charge during menus anyway so sometimes I would just wait in the menu for my bars to fill. Cool game though and I like the art style, well done!

it plays really well, speed and projectile speeds are nicely tuned.
as a point of feedback i'd maybe like to see a sepertete level border tile to clearly show where the map ends. also maybe some other wands, perhaps low dps but AOE/penetration effect to take out waves more effectively
overall nicely done :)

The game is really engaging, but the best strategy that I figured out is always group up the enemies and then kill them.

Would be nice to have different patterns and ways to face the game!

Liked it really much and had some good runs! The challenge round cooked me good lol :)

If you add a minimap with just a red dot indication of where enemies are it would be even better.

The challenge round cucked me but overall i really liked the game! It was a little generic though (i have seen multiple games that look like this). Anyways you've done a really good job you should be proud of yourself!
