How does the game fit the theme?
The goal is to earn money. To do so, the player must platform, then spend money on upgrades to earn even more. Within a short time, upgrades must be used wisely to make more than what was spent — otherwise, the player may finish with less. If they don’t invest, they risk missing out on greater profit. To earn more, they must take risks: every item collected slows them down, testing their platforming skills. The player has to risk it for money.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The only asset we didn’t make from scratch is the font. Everything else was created by our team during the jam.

Very fun digging game! I found a bug (maybe): when you dig an ore and then you dont press V or C, then you dig another ore, the previous disappears. But in overall a game and music are very good

Developer

As a matter of fact, I designed it that way on purpose (it’s even mentioned in the description), but from the feedback I’ve received, I understand that theUI can seem confusing. Thank you for your valuable feedback.

Thanks so much! You're right

Love the gameplay. Sadly I didn't find a single diamond the whole run. I do hope the dash key can be moved to shift cuz pressing x while using AD control feels really awkward. Otherwise I have no complaint. Good game!

Developer

Thank you so much! You should use the arrow keys. 😭

The concept is pretty good. Some smol feedback:
- I would like to see the ore drops on floor, just to have better visual and I can select which one to collect for optimizing trip.
- If its possible I would like to have the platform breaking apart when I dig them. It could be more risk and reward than ever

Developer

Your thoughts were really helpful for me, thanks a lot!

Harder than it looks... or maybe exactly as hard as it looks!

I got a diamond but my inventory was full RIP

Never saw that beautiful rock ever again..

Love digging games and this one was awesome

Developer

Thank you so much. I experienced the same thing >:| but in my next attempt, I didn’t fill my bag with copper and silver :)

So fun! The mining was fun and venturing deeper for better ore is a good idea. However, I think there is no "risk" to it as from what I've seen you can't die or lose your ores without selling them. Other than that good job!

Developer

Thank you so much for your comment! I’m glad you enjoyed it! Regarding your critique, I’d like to say this: the goal of the game is to earn as much money as possible. Since the ores in the later levels are much more valuable, you need to take the risk of spending your money on upgrades and reaching the final level before time runs out in order to mine them. If the ore you uncover isn’t worth it, you shouldn’t put it in your bag, because ores slow you down — so to make reaching the last level meaningful, you should only collect the valuable ones. But that’s also a risk: if you pass on silver in the final level hoping for gold or diamond, you might run out of spots to mine in the good levels and be forced to settle for the low-value ores in the early ones. In other words, choosing which ores to take is essentially a risk-reward system.

The concept fits the jams theme INCREDIBLY well. Honestly for a game that's been made in a week, It really is an awesome play. Good luck on the ratings!

Great! Would be lovely if you allowed not to hold pickaxe and just press button and some volume settings would be nice

Played through a couple of times and had fun.  Weight mechanic was good because it adds a little more thought into what you bring home with you.  Would love to stumble into a couple kg of gold in real life...

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Carrying it would definitely be tougher than here...

A novel concept for this jam to be able to mine for resources. Enjoyed the game, it had smooth and innovatice gameplay mechanics.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I’m glad you had fun.
