Nice survivors game, also great art!

Simple yet addicting, executed the theme well!

Really nice visuals, feels very polished

Like the chaotic artstyle, funny game

10/10

At first I was a bit confused about the lack of any explanation, but found the notes and managed to turn on the reactor, sadly never got the code without blowing up the core.

Also the visuals are great! Love the low FOV style

Once I understood how the gameplay loop worked, it was fun. With a bit more polish the idea could work even better, but I know the time struggles of a jam myself

Really cute biscuits, and nice art! Managed to save 9, tho sadly no audio

Ants fighting? dope!

The combat is a bit hard to get used to at the start, but once you get it it works!

Really nice art. Definitely getting that retro feel!

The fast paced gameplay is really fun!

Reminds me of those games you play on some old arcade

Really great atmosphere, the art is also on point!

Would definitely play the full version

Thanks!

Yep these are features that were originally planned but we definitely overscoped

Thanks for you review!

Yep, the gun stuff was a last minute type change, originally it was just a stealth game but you not being able to kill any enemies made it really annoying to loot.

The fast paced movement feels nice, great work on the visuals and sound design

Fun and relaxing game, fits the theme

Fun little game! Accelerating feels nice

This is so peak

Hey! Im one of the devs of that other round based survival game.

Really like the art, especially the intro scene and also the audio, makes it really immersive.

And how you implemented buildings as actual objects you can go in is really cool!

Simple gameplay that still works great. Also liked the polished ui and the leaderboards, definitely not standard for a jam game.

Really fun game, liked the grappling mechanic. I didnt even notice the music was custom at the start lol, but this is awesome!

Really nice artwork, also a great concept!

Hey! I have about 1-2 years of experience with Unity, but really love UI stuff & polishing.

I’m also experienced with C#, though I’m not the right person for 3D modeling or art.

Really creative and satisfying!

I spent some more time finding the most optimal node setups, and im definitely hungry for some more levels.

Hey! I'm Creeperkatze, a Unity game developer from Germany.

I have about 1 year-ish of experience working with the Unity game engine, especially with UI stuff, but I'm also doing things like web development. You can check out my website: https://creeperkatze.de/en.

So far I haven't really published a bigger game yet, as I currently don't really have the motivation to work on my main projects.

I'm taking part in this jam to get some fresh air and hopefully learn something. Working in a team would really motivate me!

So: If you're programmer, artist, sound designer or basically anyone and want to work with me hit me up :)

Hey!

While checking out the forums I found this post and wanted to give some feedback.

The controls are pretty simple, so everything was relatively clear even without a tutorial.

I think the main aspect I would work on is the shooting. While it's responsive and the particle effects look great (destroying drones feels very responsive), the visual dose'nt seem responsive enough to make it feel "satisfying", tho maybe that's just my taste. If I spam the space bar, I would expect it to give me more feedback, like a slight recoil effect or even a camera shake when your weapon overheats.

You could also add a clear representation of what you're protecting, like a laser barrier which the enemy drones should'nt cross instead of them just despawning.

One thing I think you nailed is the UI, it looks great, tho It could be more responsive in some places like the score counter having some effect when increasing.

I would say the difficulty is pretty balanced, at least for beginners.

Overall I think that you're project definitely has potential.
