yooo awesome track!

jazzy! it doesn't give me much of the vibes of the character but it's a good track nonetheless!

ooh cool track! though the mixing could do some work, maybe tuning down the volume on some os the non-lead instruments and some subtle panning could help a bit

good call, gotta go with the algorithm heh. although why don't you post it in youtube music as well, maybe that could attract traffic too?

oooo i'm glad to hear i inspired you! but i'd reccomend just nudging a little bit to the center, although i don't have much expertise on mixing so the experimentation really helps out!

ooh i understand, it's kinda hard to go with that chord progression and not to think about megalovania so i don't blame you

Thanks! I agree the 6/4 doesn't fit to the overall song but i liked it too much to try to come up with anything new on time heh

heey thanks for listening! ultrabox has much more features than beepbox, specially samplings and modulation channels so I def recommend checking it out!

drum solo let's goooooo! Great entry, really fun to listen to!

The first part of the song just screams megalovania so it feels derivative, but I really liked the second part! Personally I'd just discard the first part and make the focus of the song the solo and the melodies introduced after the time changes. Overall it's a good entry so nice work!

now that's one funky song, incredible work! it would fit really well in a rhythm heaven game

Loved it! The time changes worked really well and the song is a bop, amazing work as always! Maaaaybe the only thing I could think about improving is centering the panning of the sax but other than that it's a 5*!

Blue Lava™️ Quality right there, great take on the reduction challenge!

5/5!

I kinda liked the entry but I the way the song is structure feels off, like it takes a while for new elements to be introduced and when they do they don't contribute as much to the song as a whole. As a song it doesn't feel cohesive to listen to.

But the overall composition is very charming and the instrumentation really fits with the vibe!

Oooh very pleasent to listen to, it starts off simple but it gets more lush from the middle, and the time signatures makes it very interesting to listen to a second time. Great job!

I did enjoy both parts of the song but I think it lacks a connection between both of them, like they both feel like separate songs. But other than that you did a very good job in making your track, I liked the first part the most!

such a pleasant track to listen to, and i also loved the battle concept, very creative!

Amazing entry!

Amazing entry!

Thanks for listening! I'll update the page with a downloadable version so just keep an eye there!

that intro sequence had no need to be that scary wtf

great song as always!

ooh cool entry! really liked the composition but the mixing feels a bit off, not sure if it's because the synth rising is a bit loud or something else with the lead instruments

sticking to only pentatonic holds this song waaay too much, the instrumentation really works for the character but the composition feels too simplistic and lacks some sort of structure. That said I think the song has potential, maybe expanding to the minor scale and focusing on a melody could really help out.

I hope to see your next entries in future jams!

to fight Fungo you must create a taste for free jazz

for real tho, cool entry!

ooh i like the drums and groove here, quite catchy! Although it could use more variation in the composition, like introduce new melodies or more background instruments, i liked it so good job!

Heey ultrabox fellow user! I liked your entry, it fits well with the character, but I think the default instrumentation holds back the song a bit. Also it could use some variation with the bass notes like some sort of chord progression. But other than than I think it's a good song overall!

Very charming and well executed, good work!

Thanks for listening!

Ooooh true heh, I really like all the Castlevania's OSTs so that's cool.

it could still be a big town tho so it still counts in my opinion, great art btw!

I can definitely relate lol

It's throughout the song actually, some of the kicks are a bit early which is off-sync with the bass. But that's usually what happens with swing so there's not a lot to do there unless you sync the instruments or the rhythm.

Very well composed and pleasant to listen to, great job! My only minor gripe is with the instrumentation feels a bit bland, which is not necessarily a bad thing but it holds back the starry and shooting star vibe to the track.

It feels quirky just at the right level and it's fun to listen to, gives of a improvised festival sort of vibe. I liked it!

Loved this one, so lovely and comfy to listen to, and it fits so well in a starry town vibe it's uncanny. It wouldn't feel out of place to listen to this track in a game like Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing! Stellar job with this one!

Glad to see you again in the jam and good luck!

I'm very glad to hear that you like my songs and that I didn't disappoint! Although this time around there's nothing much special about my entry, it is very heavily based on kirby music so if you liked it I really recommend listening to the OST of Kirby Super Star or Kirby's Dream land 3. What I like the most about these OSTs are the key changes and chord progressions, and trying to understand them it's what motivated me to start composing in the first place!

About the loop I usually just set a single loop so it's more reviewing friendly and so they don't think I've added something in a new loop, but that's just a personal preference. Anyways thank you very much for listening!

Very lovely to listen to, great work!

Ooh nice track, quite groovy! Although it could use more layers of instrumentation and a more varied chord progression in the first part in my opinion. But the song still delivers so good job!

Really liked the instrumentation, the swing time with the bass and drums feels a bit off-putting but other than that it's a very good track!

Cool entry! It does feel very alien and chaotic but in a good way, as in it really gives the vibe of a futuristic urban setting.

nuh uh
