Wow lots of variety in this one! The animations of the enemies are really good

I felt the fish were way too fast.. they seem to match the player speed, and they are pretty strong for an early enemy

I tried all characters and most of the upgrades and they were all cool. Impressive work for your first game!

The idea is really original and cool! I really like the touch were the menu was in (I guess?) braille

I could navigate in the room, but it felt like e wasnt' doing anything? I pressed it on the green and purple objects but it didn't really feel like it was doing anything. At some point I clicked on the mouse button and I somehow got a gun, and than I died, and it was again wasn't very clear

I almost wish it was more exploration focused game, because the effect of not seeing anything and than gradually making out the shapes is really amazing and unique. Very well done!

Never been prouder to score 1 point lol. Took me about 5 minutes :)

It's a little weird that the sync jumps to 98% for one peg, and I'm not sure if the height of the wave affects anything

The graphics and sounds were minimal but effective for this style of game. Well done!

I liked the little touches with the graphics and gameplay - the way the ship moves, the alarm, the fact that asteroids are pulled to the black hole and continue on the path

Right now there is not too much game, and I'm not sure if the difficulty escalates? Would love to see this one more developed!

Wonderful entry! Superb voice acting and very nice music. I also liked the cute graphics - they were perfect for the overall feeling of the game. The concept reminded me of Firewatch, but with a more twisted ending :) the messages really help to break down the monotony fishing

If I had to give some small suggestions - you get a sound for successful fishing when you hit e correctly, but the sound of the rod getting up is much more noticable and it's the same if you suceed or fail. Also, I thought there is not much point to progress to deeper waters before upgrading the more expensive rod - since half of the fish in the deeper waters require it, and you have access to the less valuable fish already

But those are nitpicks for a really charming entry with perfect length. Good job!

Very cool idea and interpertation of the theme!

In practice I feel like the boat was too hard to control, or at least I didn't figure out how. Also on my first run I could see the star and aim for it, but on my second one I couldn't, and I didn't see option to look around

I really liked the idea of boat floating in space, and the sinking animation - very good use of simple graphics and effects

Thanks! Now I played the game and it was very fun :) (Maybe adding a small instruction of "scroll to see more" in game will do the trick, and it's nice you put some on the page as well)

I tried to beat the 2nd level 3 times and didn't make it lol. But it was fun trying and I'm glad I beat the 1st level. I like that the game escalate very quickly, and the 3rd upgrade of each tower feels very powerful which is appropriate

It was in fact so powerful that I couldn't see what's going on :) especially with the one that create yellow circle. The HP of my base and the enemies was a little hard to make and so it was hard to understand what's effective, and you seem to implemented many interactions which is good - but I think this is why I had trouble progressing

I really like the music and the style felt cohesive overall - maybe I'll give the 3rd level a try just to see the cool enemies :)

Cute game! I couldn't beat the boss :( But it was fun crushing the bugs

Very impressive! You created a whole little world, and I liked the little touches like exiting the vehicle by clicking on the door. Keeps you immersed

I was able to tune to the 2nd frequency, and I understood that I need to track the signal with the device in the car - but I couldn't find it - it lead me to some wall, and when I exited the car it kicked me to the elevator, I assume because I was on the darkness for too long. Honestly the first frequency, I just followed the road, and didn't use the device.

Small things I see that can be improved - subtitles (I appriciated that fact you wrote the frequency above the machine - but it could be nice if I can see it when I tinker with it), sound balance (sounds/music was too loud sometimes), and maybe tutorial for slow people like me :)

Great job!

Hi Guys! I opened the game, got the the tutorial page, but I can't progress beyond it. Pressed every key I can think off. Will be happy to play it once it's fixed :)

I think the idea of is cool, just creating scenes of a caveman like creating fire, fight, etc

I wonder if streamlining the controls could help - there were so many keys and mouse involved, which on one hand might be intended to express the various things you're doing, but in practice - maybe the effort should have gone elsewhere, like improving the responsivness of the controls in the fight against the killer goat.

Also the art was sort of a pixel art, but with each "pixel" having different size and gradient color, which is a little jarring. Overall it didn't look bad, but little things like not having white line above the head, can help

Loved the artwork! Not sure I got the game - it told me I got a wrong soil, although it gave the correct plant shape. Still, it was fun creating plants :)

Fantastic game! I liked everything - the intuative and unique control, the artstyle that develop as you progress through the ages with beautiful splashes of colors, and the interpertation of the theme. Very well done!

I loved the music, the vibe of the game was really chill - and that's saying something on a game where you're being chased by the sanworm from dune :)

Very creative game and interpertation of the loop! I wish the first tasks were a little simpler, so I could manage them, lol

Very special graphics! I liked it a lot. I wish there was a way to speed up the dialog a little - I clicked on a response by mistake trying to figure out how to do that

I wasn't sure when to close the door, and I was too scared to open it :)

Enoyable little game, extremly impressive for a first game jam. Well done!

I loved the artwork! This style of old fashion cartoon really works well for this type of gameplay and story. At first I thought it would be complicated because of the graphs and all the UI, but it's really just a fun old school arcade game. Great job!

Delightful art! I like that the upgrade are suit tag. I wish there were more upgrades, but the fact that the robot speed upgrade looks like they farting is a good consultation ;)

Ggreat effort with the art!

The gameplay itself is a little opaque - not sure if there are more levels, almost miss the keys, not sure what the car parts do

Nice to see that you manage to submit 5 seconds before deadline, almost as challenging as the loop in the game!

Our game was also inspired by pokemon ranger, but from a different direction - really liked the enemy variety in your game! Wish I had a stylius, as with mouse it cause severe carpal tunnel :)

idle game boiled down to the core :)

The art is really really good. I tried to play this, but couldn't find the moth, and the placeholder buttons indicate this one might not be complete yet

It's a shame, as this can be a cool concept - according to the itch io page you had lots of ideas, and the execution of the drag and drop for example is excellent - I would just focus on a tight gameplay and add the rest later

Very good polish on this one, really appriciated the tutorials, the different camera angles, and the speed of everything was just right

I wish I was more tuned to this kind of gameplay, as I gave up on level 3 - I literally sat for 5 minutes having all the information I need, but couldn't get myself to bring this little robot to the end :(

It was very refreshing to know for sure that the fault is not with the game, but with me - very well done making sure the player have all the info they need to solve this

Amazing polish for this one! I only wish it would show you the difference after you lose, so you would know what to look for

I liked the colorful art, and the idea for the game is solid - I liked that cards are used for attacks, resources, life etc

I didn't have a problem with lack of animation and bugs, but I do wish progression was a little quicker. You really don't put a dent on the dino HP initially, which is cool as the idea is that you become stronger over time, but for me at least it was a little too slow and the decisions not as interesting as they can be initially

Still, a solid core for an ambitious game

Really cool voice overs and saturday morning cartoon story

Something about the controls didn't fully gel with me - I wanted to just punch people. I feel this what metal man should do >:)

(1 edit)

Superb atmosphere! The graphics really nails the feeling of a dark forest, and the music and sound choicewas really fitting. All of it reminded me of the movie Midsommer. I also liked the interperation of the theme - dancing in circles to repel the ghosts

While I appriciated the effort to explain the controls with, again, beautiful icons, it took me some time to understand them. I think what does my head in especially is the turning - I can't wrap my head around it. The timer for finishing the moves ends really quickly, and you lose real fast too - although you can restart quickly so it's not big deal

I wonder if giving simpler moves at first, maybe shorter ones that don't require turning, would be better way to introduce the concept of the game. You can always make the moves longer, more complicated, etc as the night goes on - I mean maybe you did, I suck at this so I didn't progress much :)

Great game, very well done!

Fantastic pixel art! I think the whirpools were the only jarring part

It took me some time to get use to the controls, and it was still diffiicult to control, but forgivable enough because you didn't had to hit targets again after dying

Got here because you were ones of the last to submit and it shows - really impressive work with all the assets, and the story seem really touching. I was a little disapppointed I didn't figure out what to do with the apples, as I really want to se the ending for this

Looked for a hidden gem! I'm not sure if the artwork is yours or not, but it's very well done, and also the animations

The game is fun. Initially I thought it was auto battler since the dino shoot but itself, but when I discovered you can fire with space I started spraying and the game became too easy and repeat itself - but it's too slow without this active firing

There are small things you can do like making the enemies faster or stronger to encourage interacting with the upgrades

Good job!

Game is insanely well done for a game jam - the art, the sound, the upgrade system, racing with yourself - really impressive polish!

I'm not huge on physics best movement, but I saw it through the end, that says a lot :)

Not sure what I can add to the dozens of comments - really well done and made me feel like a mini speedrunner :)

I liked the idea , the presentation and the sense of urgency. Like other said, the interact button didn't seem to work very well, which hurt the experience. It took me a while but I think I understood what I need to do at first, but it was very hard to keep progressing with such a tight timer. Maybe even increasing the timer for a bit can mitigate the controls. I mean it's not like preventing a bomb from exploding in am minute is reasonable :)

Fantastic darkest dungeon style characters!

The idea of autobattler with some control with cards is a good one, but I'm not sure I fully understand it. I didn't understand the order in the loop vs the character, and what's stuff like next hero means. Maybe there were a little too many elements, at least for me, although I did appricate the hover text that explains all the icons

I really think you guys hit something here - I usually don't like games where you "program" your moves, but here it really works well. If I was smart I would probably counter the enemies move etc, but it was nice just to upgrade and optimize my build

I do think the game is too easy, and I assume there's no ending or further development? But still a very solid entry, and I liked the chill forest vibes!

Very cool idea for a game! It reminds me of her story, but honestly I think you guys found an even better way for a game vere you mainly watch footage - much more interactive.

I do think the editing interface was a little cumbersome, with 3 different UIs to manage different things. Maybe just draging and dropping from the video could be a little easier

But again, I liked everything, the graphics, the sound, the story was cute, and the last puzzle was very funny - great job!

Really like the colorful graphics and the prespective. Remind me of an old game called micro machines

It it me a while to understand that the game auto drives. Once I figure it out it got better, although it's pretty brutal to be reset by the trees lol. I got 67 seconds which is horrible

Is anything change later? I didn't notice any.

What a fun puzzle game! I liked that part of the puzzle is even figuring out it's a puzzle game lol. At first I just blindly entered doors, and I figured out that the first puzzle without realizing it, only to later see the message with the hint

I liked that I could brute force the solution if I was stuck. I still don't understand the solution to the dark room puzzle. I think it's something to do with the lights. Also with the sound puzzle I swear I tried the door with the loudest sound but it wasn't it, maybe it's because I don't have surround

Really fantastic job!

Very unique graphics! Really fells like you play on a very old monitor. I loved the infinite loop in the intro (although I felt it the intro was a bit long). With sound this can be really immersive

The idea itself is clear, but I think there are many things that maybe hold it back a little: it's a little too chaotic, and losing put you back at the start. I think with this idea it should be either random and fun, or calculated and challenging

I suck at this, so I want to watch a playthrough of it and see it through the end, the computer vibes are so good!
