It's school holidays so I've had two grandchildren today, their sister was unwell so didn't stay in case any of the baby granddaughters were coming over. Our daughter ended up coming down with the 6 month old so it was a good choice not to leave Amelia here. They've just been picked up and I've had time to pop in and type up this post. It's always Anything Goes at Crafting From the Heart so that makes it very easy to join in the challenges with whatever you've created. Our Sponsor this week is - Karleigh Sue digi stamps and I got to play with this fun image.
Here's my card...... I think it would make a great birthday card or a Mother's Day card.
Recipe:
SU Bashful Blue cardstock for the cardbase
Brown card from stash
White cardstock from stash
DP is from Grace Taylor 12x12 paper pad - Our Neighbourhood
Image is from Karleigh Sue digi stamps - You Make It Look Easy
Sentiment from Close to My Heart set - Mother's Day
Nestie Die - Labels Twenty-nine
Corner rounding punch
Memento black inkpad
Copic Markers
D/S tape roller
Foam Dots
I am entering my card into the following challenges (back later)
We'd love to see you popping in to the challenge blog and dropping off an entry. Someone from the DT will stop by to leave you a comment. It's such fun seeing all the different entries each challenge.
Thanks for dropping in
Take Care,
Hugs, Sandy

PSC77 Make it Feminine with Robyn's Fetish
Hello and welcome to my blog, It's the beginning of a new challenge at the Perfect Sentiment today and this week we are being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish and the theme is to "Make It Feminine"
CREATE A CARD AND MAKE IT FEMININE. USE LACE, PEARLS, BLING, LACY DIE CUTS, DOILIES, ANYTHING THAT A GIRL LOVES. DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR SENTIMENT ON THE FRONT.
My card is made using a lovely image from Robyn's Fetish called English Tea Cup.
Front of card was taken with my new camera at night so the paper and flower are a bit light
Inside of card is done with the scanner and is a bit dark due to the cover not sitting flat because of the front of the card being raised. Oh the trials and tribulations of trying to get a decent picture, LOL.
Recipe:
SU Regal Rose cardstock
DP is from Prima Marketing - Meadow Lark Collection 6x6 paper stack
Image is from Robyn's Fetish and is called English Tea Cup
Nestie Dies - Small Circles and Large Scalloped Circle
Pearl swirls from stash
Pearl bling from stash
Punches - Circle and Scalloped Circle
Sentiment is from SU
Black Memento inkpad
Copic Markers
Lace from stash
Flower from stash - a discount store purchase
I am entering this into the following challenges:
(back later)
Ok time for me to stop chattering and you to get busy and show us your "stuff"
Looking forward to seeing the wonderful entries this week.
Hugs,
Sandy

Wonderful Mother
Well, it's Mother's Day tomorrow and some of the family will be dropping in and some will be here for tea - pizza with self-saucing chocolate pudding for sweets. If it's Mother's Day in your part of the world, I wish you a happy day.
I had a busy day today. I went off to the shops to buy some groceries and to have a look around at some clothes. I bought myself a pair of cord jeans. Love corduroy and this is the first time I've been able to fit into a pair for many years so am pleased. I spent the afternoon baking small cakes for tomorrow's choir fundraiser. Adrian and I went out for a meal with our eldest daughter, her fiancee, his mum and sister and our youngest son tagged along too. We had Chinese food, which was quite nice. We came back home and our daughter, her fiancee and our son went off to the pictures. Laurie has only just got home and it's just sneaked over midnight (I'm going to tweak my post to come in just before midnight as I did finish the card before then, LOL.)
I spent some time watching tv and then jellied the cakes so they will be ready to be split and creamed in the morning. It is a time consuming job!
My card for today is for Mum for Mother's Day - so sorry if you've looked at the blog Mum, it won't be a surprise.
I used SU Garden Green for the basecard and then a layer of purple card from stash. I used a green silky thread to embroider the swirl pattern and then stamped this lovely butterfly from SU onto white card and cut it out minus the antennae. I also stamped it onto another piece of card and cut out with a circle punch. This was then adhered to a black scalloped circle. The sentiment is from SU Well Scripted and inked with Basic Black. I went over the word "mother" in black pen to emphasize it a bit more, On the inside I used a piece of SU Certainly Celery and stamped a swirly pattern of butterflies in SU Basic Brown. The stamp is from a cling rubber set by "Stamp-It"
I would like to enter this into the following challenges
Addicted-to-stamps challenge - mother's day (card for a woman)
Celebrate the Occasion - Challenge #62 - Mother's Day
Party Time Tuesdays - PTT#67 ~ Mum's the Word
Tuesday Alchemy - Challenge #13 ~ Mother Dear
Well that's me for today, hope you are enjoying your weekend and thanks to those who popped in and left comments. Love reading them, thanks!!!
Take Care,
Sandy

Girl with Pot Plant
Hi everyone,
I had my visit to the dentist and am much better although there is still pain on the right side of my mouth. He said it could take a couple of days to settle down. One of my teeth had a fracture and had decayed because food was getting stuck in there and that was causing a lot of the problems. The tooth next to it has suffered as well and he took the old filling out and it just kept bleeding so in the end had to do a sort of temporary filling. I now have a pink tooth, LOL. Still have to be careful what I eat - trying to avoid anything that needs a lot of chewing. On the soft stuff, LOL. He is still booked up solid so will again have to wait another month for more dental work unless I am in pain and I may get in on an emergency appointment. Just swallowed another couple of pain killers in the hope of getting a good night's sleep.
Well I had better get on and share my card as it is really late.
I've used a burgundy card from my stash for the cardbase and a yellow DP with stars on it also from stash. I folded the front of the card back on itself and added a topper of white card adhered to a matte of the burgundy card. I added this cute digi from Birdie Brown which I printed, coloured with Copic Markers and then cut out. The sentiment is from SU Petite Pairs and was stamped with SU Cherry Cobbler ink onto a 1 1/2" circle and then backed with a 1 3/4" scallop circle and I added 3 litttle green rhinestones as well. I made the inside to match with the DP and another piece of white card adhered to a matte of burgundy. The sentiment on the inside is from the Petite Pairs as well. I thought this card could be used for several occasions. Mother's Day, a birthday card for a special lady, friendship or just as a thankyou card.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Make It Monday Linky Party - #88 - Anything Goes
Addicted to Stamps - Challenge #29 ~ Mother's Day/Card for a Woman
Bearly-Mine Challenges - Challenge #33 ~ Friendship
Thanks for stopping in, I've enjoyed the comments left for me too.
Take Care,
Sandy
