(updated 31 December 2016) A milestone for the year and for my Katzenstein project...after must procrastination, I finished texturing/flocking all the bases to bring my entire miniature collection to a single standard. Nothing fancy, but the flock matches my game table.

Kingdom of Katzenstein expansion

I have expanded the Kingdom of Katzenstein forces. Have not touched that project in over a year so it was time for new troops.

The 20th and last of the phase I cavalry!

Had planned on the Ish Irregulars, but I did not like the figures and I needed more heavy cavalry.

Infantry and cavalry now done...will finish the generals this month and then on to the baggage train in April.

Jivvanese Jager zu Pferde

Mounted jagers in campaign dress.

The last of the Spanish-American War figures I got with some others in an e-bay deal. Also the 19th cavalry regiment...one left to paint.

Lorax Lancers

The second unit of lance armed cavalry in the Kingdom. Recruiter from the cattle ranchers of the midlands.

Ronk Ruin Rough Riders

A frie korps raised from ranch hands in the interior. Word that these men were found unfit for the Lorax Lancers is only idle gossip.

Dapper Hussars ready for action.

Jaunty pinks and blues for this dashing regiment of Hussars.

Valing Valley Chassuers a Chevel

Well dressed light cavalry without the maurading bent of the hussars.

I like how these came out, the blue and white is a nice contrast.

West Bunglefield Chevau-legers

Simply dressed light cavalry without pretention. The rose colored facing is in honor of the flowers grown in Bunglefield.

Krupp Kurassiers

The second regiment of armored cavalry.

Culpepper Carabiniers

More heavy cavalry. Ready for the campaign in the north.

Zweiback Garde du Honneur

This heavy cavalry regiment provides a field force and honor guards for visiting dignitaries. Dressed in elegant black and white with polished steel cuirasses.
