Flower Friday

Hi pals! Well, grandpa got his brain surgery scheduled - it is set for April 6 and it is going to be done endoscopically - the docs are gonna go through da nose and he duzn't have to have his head cut open again.

Unfortunately for me, dis means grandma are not gonna be able to come out to see me for my birthday! Ok, maybe it wuz also sposed to be for Easter, but we all know she just wanted to spend her favorite grandson's 10th birthday wif him. Ok, only grandson, but still . . . 

Kinley showed off some of da outside flowers, so I are showing da orchids dar are blooming inside.

One of the few plants I'm never interested in chewing on, MOL.

Hi pals! So I dressed up for da World Series on Thursday - kinda thinking I deserve some ballpark-level snacks for that, but NO, for some reason momma didn't provide me any. 

Today wuz a cold gray day - good for napping I say!

Well, it's finally the weekend! Momma made it through her first week of classes for da semester. So now it are time for some weekend bacon and relaxation!

Hey pals. Well, it has been kinda boring around here - at least for me. Momma are getting ready to start classes, so she has been trying to do class prep while applying for jobs. Oh, and her first article are now officially published (another one has been accepted for publication). And she are supposed to be on a streaming news program talking about some kinda boring law stuff. YAWN. Just as long as she remembers tomorrow are Bacon Caturday. She better remember da important stuff. 

Here are some of da flowers dat are blooming round here. And by around here, I mean on da porch or in da house, MOL.

Hey pals. Well, I'm back in Lubbock - momma and me and Kinley came back yesterday.

Which means Angelique and Bowie are in charge back in Plano . . . 

Ok, maybe Brinley and Angelique are in charge. MOL.

I'm definitely in charge out here in west Texas. 

Momma's flowers were actually still alive when we came back.

We think there musta been a lil bit of rain for them to be blooming.

Even the orchid inside are still doing good.

Yeah, it's a rare tongue out picture for me today. What can ya say? Dat breakfast ahi tuna wuz delishus!

I has been trying to give Bowie biskit-making lessons while I am home - I want everybody to be a biscuiteer!

Angelique has actually picked it up pretty well - only she prefers biscuiting people. Specifically, da chestal regions of female people. Well, good thing she's a girl and a cat - no sexual harassment allegations here!

It has been really hot, so the flowers are not what they were, but some are still going.

Like this tropical hibiscus.

And this althaea that are blooming outside my bedroom window.

Guess this hibiscus doesn't mind da heat either.
