DEBS is an entertaining, charming flick that does not try to to do too much more than put a smile on the audiences faces. It is hard to imagine how it can go wrong: beautiful young women, guns, and consistent jokes. Jordanna Brewster does a nice job of bringing a great deal of sizzling sexuality to the character of Lucy Diamond. Likewise, Sarah Foster, Devon Aoki, and Meagan Good are equally sensual and fun to watch. Jill Ritchie is terrific as the airhead who is striving vigorously to earn her stripes. While Jimmi Simpson displays strong comedic timing which adds to the diverting and catchy feel of the movie. Kudos to Angela Robinson and the cast for bringing the proper energy and creativeness to the this flick.
This is a pretty decent lesbian movie. As a lesbian myself, I can appreciate its happy ending and the chemistry between the two romantic leads. It also got a few laughs out of me and I appreciate its over-the-top acting at times, as it fits with the whole Charlie's Angels parody premise.
This movie played a role in helping me accept myself when I first realized I was gay, so I think I'll always have a soft spot for it. Lucy Diamond, you have my heart.

Holy Crap this is bad. It doesn't realize that camp is admission to the audience that there is no underlying story. It's a wink to audience that "hey, this story sucks, but we're making fun of other movies so it's OK." Well, it's not okay. Parodies fail nearly every time because they don't have story lines that keep the audience's interest for the full 90 minutes. They have a string of lame jokes that wears out its welcome within 15. This wears it out in less than 5.
I didn't laugh once at this crap fest. The girls were on the homely side except for the villain. The dialogue was terrible. The storyline, holy crap, what a bad story.
This has no redeeming qualities at all. It fails at every single level. The director will always be a hack. Don't believe me? She directed that catastrophe Herbie: Unloaded. Or whatever the heck it was called.
Trust me. This movie sucks. Whoever says different is probably a mental retard or glue sniffer. Those people account for the popularity of professional wrestling.

don't worry, no spoilers. i left the theater before it was over.
in retrospect it was my own fault for thinking this movie could have been entertaining. i wonder, how could any movie about 4 hot girls in miniskirts be so useless? they seem to have looked for every opportunity for clichés and taken them. there's several attempts at cheap laughs, but none of them are funny.
I never cared much for Charlies Angels (2000) but in comparison with DEBS, Charlies Angels seems like a classic. the comparison is so obvious. therefore, i can at least credit DEBS for showing me the craft behind normal Hollywood blockbusters that i might have previously thought were talentless.

I would like to extend major props for the actresses being able to portray the love expressed by Amy and Lucy. I can only imagine how strenuous it had to be working such long hours, but through it all they depicted a believable relationship. Everything from the body language between Sara and Jordana, to the way they interacted with each other fit perfectly. It never looked like they were uncomfortable. As for the rest of the actresses and actors in this movie, they blended together well. Whoever was in charge of choosing characters did a marvelous job. I liked how each individual D.E.B stood out from the next, so it didn't just seem like a blur of "wait which girl is that". All in all I think the love story was good and I would love to have the opportunity to watch another one of Angela Robinson's movies. She did a remarkable job orchestrating this film with the limited amount of time and funds.
