Sheldon & Penny ... and the guys with the Pot Cookies in the dessert

This is my absolute favorite episode of the entire series run. It solidifies Penny & Sheldon's beautiful friendship & unwavering bond. They are so cute!!

The pot cookies the guys eat, made me LOL SOOO MUCH. "Da da dahhhh, and she was his cousin!"

    funniest season 3 episode

When i started watching season 3, my expectation took a beating. The episode was not up to the mark in scale of funny. But episode 7 was pretty funny and this one i have to say i laughed. This is good stuff. Sheldon and Penny together alone, superb idea. Sheldon had do to things he would most probably avoid and the hospital scene where he was trying to comfort Penny was hilarious and embarrassingly funny. But i have to say i enjoyed the other parallel story running. The drugged scientists speaking to themselves unaware who is talking what was really cool. The last part of the episode where Sheldon tries to sing Soft Kitty left me wondering Penny in her distress did make the equations straight with Sheldon. She forced him to drive, dress a girl and sing a bedtime song, quite brilliant.

    The Adhesive Duck Deficiency

I didn't really care for the storyline set in the desert I'm afraid - people pretending to be stoned doesn't do a lot for me and sets a bad example.

I much preferred the Sheldon/Penny storyline, and really like that relationship.

An episode of two halves therefore for me.

"The Adhesive Duck Deficiency" is another highly laughable episode of "The Big Bang Theory"

In this episode of last season's "The Big Bang Theory": Leonard, Raj, and Howard are enjoying spending time away from Sheldon camping out in order to witness a meteor shower. Speaking of whom, Sheldon is at the computer finishing a thesis paper when he hears Penny shouting for help. Turns out she injured herself in the tub and needs to get to the hospital. She won't accept a cab or ambulance so Sheldon reluctantly has to drive her. Considering his inexperience, that can't be good. Meanwhile, Howard found a couple of middle-aged teachers with "tie-dyed Grateful Dead shirts" who offer him some brownies. There must be something in them as him, Leonard, and Raj start having some strange conversations afterwards...Another highly hilarious ep of "The Big Bang Theory" with highlights being Sheldon's dressing of Penny, among other moments between them. Wait 'till you see how that all ends up! Also, the revelation of Howard's first time also gets good mileage here. So on that note, "The Adhesive Duck Deficiency" is another highly recommend ep of this great show.

[Sheldon is helping Penny get dressed without looking]

Penny: Now, you gotta help me get my arm into the sleeve.

      Sheldon Cooper: Okay.

      Penny: Is that my arm?

Sheldon Cooper: It doesn't feel like an arm.

Penny: Then maybe you should let it go.

      Sheldon Cooper: [pause] All righty.

CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, #267 Last weekend I went on a movie date with a very nice lady. During the coming attractions I managed to get a piece of popcorn down the wrong pipe. I started coughing. People nearby glanced at me nervously. Then, as the movie was about to begin, I got a tickle in my nose and sneezed. Twice. The young couple sitting to my left immediately got up and moved across the aisle. The old lady directly in front of me leapt to her feet and literally vaulted over her husband in order to sit further away from me. For some reason, I was a little miffed. But then I realized the newfound power I had. I got up, crossed closer to the old lady and young couple and coughed again. They all glared at me and once again moved their seats. The game was on! Maneuvering like a knight on a chess board, I countered their move by moving two rows down and one seat over. I looked at them. I smiled. I coughed. They were stunned. How could this be happening? How had their simple movie outing turned into an Edgar Allan Poe short story? But it had! In a matter of minutes, they had become Prince Prospero and his noble cohorts, while I, I had become the Red Death! The old woman covered her mouth and nose with her hand and cried out, "Why are you doing this to us?!" I laughed and said, "Why? You want to know why? Because death, my dear woman, is the inevitable end for us all! And there is no hiding from it. Even at the AMC!" A horrible silence hung over the theater, no one moved, no one breathed. Then the movie started and we all settled down to enjoy the whacky, 3-D antics of Jim Carrey. Oh, and I'm hoping to go out with the nice lady again, but she has not returned my calls.
