The 2 star rating is bcuz of Stuart Bloom.

It ANGERS me, just COMPLETELY INFURIATING, that Stuart takes advantage of Howard's mom's loneliness & vulnerability & tries to replace Howard.

He lives there rent free, & doesn't have to pay a single dime, & then gets thousands & thousands of dollars for free..!!! I just can't bare to watch his scenes.

The character of Stuart Bloom is a fake & fictional character that TRULY gets under my skin. It's baffling how I can hate some 1 so much that doesn't exist.

I have decided to write a review each episode I just CAN'T STAND bcuz of Kevin Sussman's character, "Stuart." I really really can't watch how he mooch's off of every single main character, the things he says truly annoys me. Some feel "sorry" for his character, but me no way. I just don't understand why the writers wrote his character this way. Throughout the series he claims to be so broke, but he still can afford to keep the comic book store open, & can afford hospital bills, pills, & therapy... Instead of abusing his customers hospitality, sell the store & get a job.. Stuart's character isn't funny at all. I just really can't stand him so much I fast forward the scenes he's mooching & just plain talking at all...

Get in the Van and Pick Up Kids

For the doubters, it's awfully hard to be fresh and new every week with a sitcom. The characters are relatively static and so the situations need to dictate; but where do you go beyond personal relationships. In a crime show, the case is the focus and the characters revolve around it. This one is funny because with Emily coming in, we see Raj being an idiot instead of hopelessly depressed. The thought of buying the comic book store give impetus to something new. Sheldon's lack of basic social parameters is pretty funny. The Penny versus Emily thing could get tired really fast. But it worked nicely and Stuart and Mom are still out there for Howard to grouse over.

Full of gags and comes with a BIG BANG.

After three disappointing episodes, I started to feel that The Big Bang Theory has lost its charm and the ability to keep the audience enthralled to that particular point which has been set by it in the previous seasons. But I am glad to acknowledge that after watching this particular episode it makes me eager to look forward to upcoming episodes. The episode contains many scenes where there will be bursts of laughter and Sheldon surely continues to amuse the audience. Faith in the ability of the season have restored. There was a time when I would specially return from work to watch the season. But I felt that first three episodes should face criticism. Big bang theory has such a large followers...that makes it famous and also center of conversation and criticism.

    It's very good

Well, I really don't understand why is so much nagging about quality of the season eight. Maybe I am too big fan of this show, but I found quality of season 8 is pretty high, and there are enough opportunities for me to laugh. I still like all the characters, they are growing, they are funny, and I love them all. I especially don't understand average rating of lousy 7,1 for episode 3. It was quite funny episode. I guess thе problem is in too high hopes among viewers. Come on, guys, it's just TV show. Don't expect timeless comedy like "Some Like It Hot" in each episode. Otherwise, it's no wonder that you will be disappointed. I looking forward for future episodes.

    The Hook-up Reverberation

'The Big Bang Theory' can't get into a run of consistently good episodes so far in its 8th series.

This is far, far better than the last episode, it really couldn't have been worse, but it's still not great.

It zips along at such a pace, you almost don't see the flaws until you stop and think "was that it?".

The Penny/Emily story was good, though THAT haircut changes the character, I don't know why.

Sheldon's obliviousness to the real world remains a selling point, and that just about gets the other story over the line.

The quality has dropped, but episodes like this make the show still comfortable/easy-going enough viewing.

Contains what is supposed to be the final Chuck Lorre Vanity Card, #463, the vanity cards which are shown during the end credits of Chuck Lorre's television shows. Chuck Lorre has since reneged and there is a #464.
    • Goofs
When Raj says that if he leaves Penny off his list there wouldn't be a list. But Raj had multiple affairs (one from Penny's Halloween party, another one from cafe, "deaf chick" and some others), which he himself refers to as eleven (excluding one girl from comic con).

Sheldon Cooper: So, what are some ways we could set our comic book store apart from the competition?

Leonard Hofstadter: Hmm, kids buy comic books. It would be great to figure out a way to get more kids in the store.

Howard Wolowitz: You know, when I was a kid, I loved going there, but I could never get a ride.

Raj Koothrappali: Ooh, what if we got a van and drove around and picked kids up?

Sheldon Cooper: Nice! Like at schools and parks.

Howard Wolowitz: Toy stores, puppet shows.

Leonard Hofstadter: Hold on. So your idea is to get a van and cruise the streets looking for kids to pick up?

      Sheldon Cooper: Yes.

Leonard Hofstadter: And are you going to use candy to lure them in?

      Raj Koothrappali: We are now!

      CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, #463

We need to have a serious conversation about these vanity cards. Before we start I just want to make clear that you've been great. For something like eighteen years you've paused your VCRs and DVRs to read them. Maybe you chuckled. Maybe you shrugged. Maybe one of them made a deep, positive impact on your life. Or, more likely, made you want to mail me a letter dusted with anthrax. Doesn't matter. The important thing to remember is that this is not about you. It's me. Gimme a minute. This is hard. Okay, here it is... It's time for me to stop writing these things. Now before you say anything, just hear me out. The brash young man who liked to jerk a bony knee into the corporate ball sack is no longer brash nor young. The smart aleck who once delighted in twisting the cultural nipple is not feeling so smart anymore, nor is he clear on what an aleck is. And perhaps most telling, the smug word jockey who never missed an opportunity to tickle the establishment prostate sans Astroglide, now finds that metaphor offensive. Which means it's time to hang it up. It's time to write the last vanity card. Which is what this is. So... Thank you. It's been a great ride. I'll miss our time together. Remember me fondly. All things that never should have happened in the first place must come to an end. Don't cry for me Argentina. Or West Covina. I miss Andy Rooney. Can anybody explain CBS's scheduling decisions to me? We are moving into an age where our memory is outsourced. The unknowable can be experienced even though it cannot be articulated. God is everything or God is nothing. Wait, maybe it can be articulated. I've taken to wearing frivolous socks. How come there are only porn stars? Where are the porn supporting players? When the noise is constant there is no information. If you're ever at an awards ceremony and they flash a happy picture of you on a screen while a woman sits nearby playing a lonely cello, it means you're a ghost watching your In Memoriam. I changed my name in an effort to eradicate what I mistakenly thought was my self. Marriage: one year of flames, thirty years of ashes. I stole that last one from somebody. I don't remember who. Turns out the Supreme Court was right. Corporations are people. Selfish, unscrupulous people. I've been struggling with memory loss and a mysterious, persistent cough. Sometimes in the middle of the night I find myself wondering if I traveled to central Africa and forgot.
