I gave a 9,but only because i didn't get enough of this yet! Scooby-Doo was my favorite cartoon in my childhood and mixing these two with that excellent writing and directing just made really happy, the best thing that happened to me in a long time, the best episode of Supernatural in a good time aswell, probably the best since Swan Song..
As a fan of Scooby all my life and huge fan of Supernatural they did an amazing job with this! I am so happy right now! Hope they do this again! For the haters out there that all complain about Dean chasing after a cartoon girl get over it! Sam is The Who kisses a cartoon or should I say got kissed by one! Scooby-Doo was my favorite! Best line was by Dean " I would take a bullet for that dog"!
This is joining my all time favorite episodes. I was worried it might disappoint- long time Scooby fan- but it didn't.
I just can't think of any other tv series that would even think about making such a curveball episode, let alone make it.
Such a great fusion of classic scooby doo and contemporary cartoon humour and Supernatural wit.
Just a joy to watch from start to finish. Supernatural is at it's best when it goes all meta. Can't wait for next season's special episode.

I love how Supernatural was incorporated into Scooby Doo and vice versa! It was awesome how they were able to do this, bringing all the characters together perfectly! I would definitely love to see another crossover like this, but I am definitely going to be watching this at least 10-20 times! My favorite line from the show was, "Sam, Dean. That dog is talking." Oh Castiel

- TriviaAlthough the voice actors for Shaggy, Daphne, and Velma have provided the voices of those characters in recent Scooby-Doo cartoons, Frank Welker has been voicing Fred since Scooby Doo, Where Are You! (1969) and took over as Scooby in 2002. Welker is the only actor from A Night of Fright Is No Delight (1970) to participate in this episode.
- GoofsIncorrectly regarded as goof: While it is learned in Devil's Bargain (2018) that Gabriel is still alive, it is not yet known to Sam and Dean. It's true that it is also not yet known how Gabriel is still alive, it is possible that he was only stabbed with a normal angel blade but that is something Lucifer should have noticed. Gabriel did reveal in Hammer of the Gods (2010) that each Archangel has their own "Archangel blade", he told Sam and Dean that he gave Kali a normal angel blade, then he pulls out his Archangel blade and said "I didn't want her getting her hands on this, this thing can kill me". So it seems that each Archangel has their own blade capable of killing other Archangels, though it's still unknown why the blade Asmodeus has looks different than the blade Gabriel had.
- Quotes
Shaggy Rogers: Like, man, I guess that leaves me and old Scoob with you, Castiel.
Castiel: Wonderful. I once led armies, and now I'm paired with a scruffy Philistine and a talking dog.
- Crazy creditsThe spooky mansion from Scooby Doo, Where Are You! (1969) appears in the beginning, then the series normal opening title appears.
