Bi-Polar

Constantly shuttling between the absolute blue-hot rage that fuels my righteous & well-justified desire to torture & kill all my enemies (It's a long list. Just about everyone I've ever known, met, or heard of is on it.) & complete exhaustion & enervation that so saps my strength I can't remain upright & must lie down, in a fitful state between sleep & consciousness. (One of these days I won't be exhausted when I get up; the rage & energy will continue unabated & you'll all be in trouble.)
Thank you all again for all the support & concern that I've never heard from anyone, ever. Now I know who were never my friends. Only some little prick who likes to call the police on people. Little bastard apologized to me the first time he squealed, when nothing happened; last yr. I was imprisoned for a wk. & yet not a peep so far. Been almost a yr. & a half, jerkwad. (Revenge is a dish best served cold.)
But I'm the one w/ the "problem", not a heartless society of uncaring pigs!! No, yours is a perfect world of greed, corruption, bullshit, denial, perversion, degeneracy & Republicanism. And, of course, squealing rat informers.
Now tell me this is the best of all possible worlds, you deluded idiots!

Slow Summer Sunday ...

Still 'phoning it in. Not that anyone's watching or listening, let alone paying.
At an impasse; I need a mess of new turnouts & I have to decide which brand(s) & sizes to buy. (Walthers or PECo?) Already have track I may never use, so I'm planning & measuring at least twice. Also realized a crossover is needed.Have two used ones, but I effed one up a bit & the other doesn't work so well either. Two new turnouts may be easier & less expensive than taking this to Burbank's Train Shack at US$75.00/hr.
Note broken piece of brass(?) that allows the point rail to flop about. That grommet is yesterday's technology, 'though this newer model doesn't appear any easier to repair. This will now require hrs. more experimentation & the joining & rejoining of track, turnouts & paper templates. One hears the phrase "World's Greatest Hobby" a lot; thinking it's somewhere between most irksome & most boring.
Have some all-American track-laying, re-laying & then laying again & again music.
This cat is quite the selector. Hey-bob-a-re-bop!

Thursday's Terror Threats

"May Be Severe & Lead To Death"
Nothing is even worth the effort of a threat. I won't waste my beautiful mind by acknowledging all the horrible things all of the awful people do for which they should all be threatened & terrorized. Speaking of which, still exhausted, enervated, run down & barely able to function, because I've been terrorized & threatened every day of my existence since being sent to school. Not that the parents are innocent, but once school started it was every damn day as some "grown-up" piece of shit humanoid w/ 100 lbs. & several feet on me shoved me around & told me what to do. Fucking two-bit thug bullies.Wednesday, August 12, 2026

USS Reluctant Anchored Off EnnuiGlenn Secrest |
Route of the cargo ship U.S.S. Reluctant, in the 1946 novel Mister Roberts. Tell me about it. This rustbucket doesn't even move, & I haven't opened the door or had pants on since early Friday evening."For the most part it stays on its regular run, from Tedium to Apathy and back; about five days each way. It makes an occasional trip to Monotony, and once it made a run all the way to Ennui, a distance of two thousand nautical miles from Tedium."

Would've 'phoned this in but, 'though the lights were on & the 'phone rang, there was nobody home. (There never is in these United Snakes. Whole fucking country's permanently out to lunch.)
Conversely, America is the birthplace of the blues & its chillun, but that was over 100 yrs. ago.
One of the children of the blues: Remastered orig. disc: Bonus track w/ two alt. takes.
One never knows where an item is headed.

After enduring yet another interminable wk. of stultifying boredom & unspeakable horror. Not that wknds. mean a damn thing to me, other than as a vague marker of time.
Some all-time classics on this. "That should hold the little bastards." Not even 'phoning it in, telegraphing it. Sending it by drum, really.

Fi-Yuh In France!

French firefighters were still battling a wildfire four times the size of Paris cutting through forests west of Bordeaux on Wednesday. (AP video by Alexander Turnbull)
Factoid: The city of Light itself is pretty petite, 6 miles (9.5 km) north-to-south and 7 miles (11 km) east-to-west. The Euros won't have to worry about wildfires as much when there's a major slowdown or shutdown of the Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation (AMOC) — the broader ocean conveyor belt that includes the Gulf Stream — driven by melting polar ice and freshwater dilution. Is AMOC pronounced "amok"?

Nowhere Is Safe: There Is No Escape

Hemant Mehta / Friendly Atheist:
Christian preachers are turning airplanes into unwanted worship services — Evangelists are exploiting captive audiences who can't walk away—and broadcasting it online — What is it about being in an enclosed space, surrounded by people who can't escape, that makes evangelical Christians even more insufferable than usual?Tom Boggioni / Raw Story: Evangelicals are force-feeding sermons to air travelers: ‘I just love a captive audience’
Are there no Air Marshals? Damn jet travel. W/ a nice four-engine turboprop the 'plane could be slowed enough that such people could be safely tossed out an open door. All of this reeks of Christian privilege. These kinds of stunts would never be tolerated—even for a moment—if the evangelists weren’t Christian. It’s telling that these Christians believe a captive audience is the best way to spread their message. They’re basically admitting other people wouldn’t listen to them otherwise. The only thing they accomplish with their impromptu sermons is reminding people why they should avoid Christians when they have the option.
