The affordable housing lottery is open for Archer Green, a 23-story mixed-use development at 92-23 168th Street in Jamaica, Queens. Designed by Edelman Sultan Knox Wood Architects and developed by Omni New York, the 552,156-square-foot building will yield 387 units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 351 units for residents from 40 to 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $20,160 to $183,300.

NYC Parks Announce Completion Of $23M Revitalization of NYCHA Playgrounds Across Three Boroughs

New York City recently completed a $23 million revitalization of nearly three acres of public space across six NYCHA developments in Brooklyn, Queens, and The Bronx. The city’s investment included full playground reconstructions and landscaping improvements at Redfern Houses, Pomonok Houses, and Woodside Houses in Queens; Watson and Sotomayor Houses in The Bronx; and Kingsborough Houses in Brooklyn. After renovation work, the spaces now feature amenities that include upgraded play and fitness equipment, spray showers, seating, and game tables. The completed projects expand park access to approximately 10,000 additional residents.
