John was super helpful!!!

John was super helpful and explained every thing he was looking at, what tools he was using, and other cool car facts he knows about. They even came out as the car had very little gas left in it. At the end of it, he gave me a fair price, walked me through the documents, gave me a check, and was on his way.

Simple, Stress Free, & Fair

They were easy and accommodating when I had to reschedule my first appointment at the last minute.
At my rescheduled appointment I met with Brandon. He explained the whole process upfront. During the vehicle inspection he made sure to let me know what the devices he used measured/did & what specifically he was looking for in different areas of the vehicle. He also made sure to go over anything he found & whether or not it would impact the potential offer price. He even offered some good tips for maintenance and touch ups to the vehicle, should I decide not to sell it to them once they calculated the offer price.
I was worried that it would be like going to a dealership & meeting with one of the salesman. Thankfully, it was nothing like that at all. Brandon was very straightforward and honest. When he presented me with the final offer price for my vehicle, there was no pressure to accept it or decide immediately. In the end I felt it was a fair offer so I took it. The paperwork took about 10 more minutes after that and I left with the check. He also let me know if I changed my mind I could still buy the car back at the same price for the next 48 hours.
Overall it was a quick and simple process. I even gave his business card to a family member who also has a vehicle they’re no longer using.

Everyone was polite…

Everyone that I spoke with was polite and respectful. Brent did the evaluation. Chase called to follow-up as we were considering a trade-in with a dealer. Ryan completed the transaction a few days later. They explained the process and answered our questions. They even provided information about returning the old license plate.

Was a little nervous going into it as…

Was a little nervous going into it as I’ve never used this kind of platform to sell a car but Xavier Chizmar really did his thing and told us all the info about it and why. He made us feel comfortable right from the door. I highly recommend him to anyone thinking of selling.

Cheryl was a very helpful

Cheryl was a very helpful, she explained the process thoroughly. She was very patient and clear in explaining the steps to the 90-year-old who was actually selling the family car. All family members present agreed that going through we buy any car was great, especially for 25-year-old vehicle. I hope that others who work for the company are as helpful as was Cheryl.

We Buy Any Cars - Lawrenceville, GA - Exercise Caution

Based on a personal experience with We Buy Any Cars in Lawrenceville, GA, here's what potential customers should know:

Online vs. In-Person Discrepancy:


Initial online appraisal was $885 for a 2008 Honda Pilot (368k miles)

In-person offer drastically reduced to $300, showing significant bait-and-switch tactics


Vehicle Condition:

Car was in functional condition with working AC, lights, radio, and decent leather
Had a dent and mismatched hood color (note: Honda hoods can typically be painted professionally)


Red Flags:

Located in an isolated-looking building at 248 East Crogan Street

Company made follow-up calls after negative Google review

Failed to honor online appraisal value

Planned to recondition and resell through buy-here-pay-here financing

Recommendation: Avoid this location and seek alternative sellers. This appears to be a classic case of deceptive pricing tactics.

First, we’re sorry if our location came across as isolated or intimidating, that’s not our intention. It’s true we are in the building behind the bakery and salon. We don’t sell cars; therefore, we don’t need a large showroom or tons of space. We keep things simple, and it allows us to open locations that are in local neighborhoods and towns. While the other guys may have one or two locations scattered about, webuyanycar.com has 12 locations serving local Atlanta communities.

I understand there is a park across the street, which if the pickleball courts aren’t lit up, could be dark at night. I have asked the Area Manager to review the branch to see if there are any improvements that can be made to make the area more inviting to our customers. Our mission is to provide a safe, comfortable atmosphere for everyone.

Regarding the valuation of your 2008 Honda, first we want to say that bait and switch is an illegal and immoral business practice and does not happen at webuyanycar.com. Our online valuation tool is great for getting an idea of what your vehicle is worth, but it’s based off the information provided to us by our customers. It is not a firm offer to purchase your vehicle. We have that listed on our website’s disclaimers, FAQs and in emails you receive about your valuation.

Like any reputable buyer we need to run a vehicle history report and perform a physical inspection of the vehicle to confirm the reported condition. If we identify issues, we were previously unaware of, we need to take them into consideration when making our firm offer. Unlike car dealerships who take your vehicle around back, we invite our customers to join us during this process so they can see what we see. It’s all part of our commitment to transparency. You should have been invited to join our Branch Manager and our leadership team will investigate to understand if our process was followed.

Reviewing the detailed notes for the Honda Pilot, I see when the online valuation was completed a dent to the rear bumper was disclosed online, however, our Branch Manager uncovered additional reconditioning concerns. These issues included multiple dashboard lights illuminated, poor previous repair to the hood, and the vehicle was reported in six separate accidents. I have included the information below for full transparency.

• 06/04/2008 – Right front impact with another vehicle
• 08/02/2009 – Damage to the right front corner
• 07/03/2011 – Vehicle damage reported
• 10/14/2011 – Left rear impacted reported
• 07/01/2022 – Accident reported
• 07/21/2022 – Accident /Damage reported

Unfortunately, this newly discovered information is well outside typical wear and tear. With the rough condition and the odometer reading 368,493 miles, we needed to modify what we could offer for this vehicle.
