Have you seen all our wonderful new releases in store this week? We have so many new rubber and clear stamps, paper packs, digis, digi scrap kits all in store and released over the past couple of weeks so make sure you check them all out!
Now let's see what wonderful inspiration the Design Team have for you this week.

The DT's twist on the challenge theme is still Christmas after all we do need to get those Christmas creations made!....It's only 152 days or 21 Weeks left - Mwahahahaha :-) and if you want to join in with that theme then go for it, it's entirely your choice...

Tina - This time I have decorated for you a sled, which is drawn by 4 sweet reindeer. Colored with Polycolor Pens from Lyra. On the sled greet 2 owls for Christmas and bring beside a Christmas tree also many gifts with. You'll find the tree and the gifts out from Octavia - Frosted WinterThe owls and reindeer come from the set Twiggy & Toots. See my blog for more photos :-)

Angie J - So I had some Christmassy fun with a Winnie Winterland Collection Design Sheet.
I used Design Sheet 7 and repurposed a lolly jar and a notebook. It's hard to tell on the notebook, but the flowers have been shaped a bit for a slight 3D effect so they don't sit flat on the cover.
Michelle I have used Winnie Winter Land Collection I have made another tag using a digi image and coloured with copics I also used the Versatile  Door / Window / Flap  Die to make the door and it opens to see a snow princess.
Bev here and I couldn't resist a play with Robin Cuddles this fortnight, aren't they adorable? I had a go at water colouring. I think I need a bit more practice but it certainly gives a different look. The papers and sentiment are from Festive Christmas and the additional holly embellishment is a stamp on the Santa Claus set.
Scatty Jan for my project this week I made another pocket letter, I do love these there so much fun putting together, I mainly used Winnie Winter Land Collection adding in a few stamps from regal peacock set , I do love how everything will work together.
Anjie -  To make this I've used the fabulous Baked With Love Collection, again! You can also get this in download format should you want it right now. Lots more details on my blog.
Claire C - I've been playing with the gorgeous Regal Peacock stamps to make my Christmas project, those feathers make fantastic Christmas trees with a few glittery baubles!

Lou: Inspired by all the snowflakes created using the Regal Peacock stamp soup set, I had to have a go myself. I've teamed up my projects with Elegant Nest and Ribbon Gift die sets.More details on each card can be found on my blog.

Now let's see the wonderful DT inspiration - the DT's twist on the challenge theme is Use a Die and if you want to join in with that theme then go for it :-)

Tina - This time I designed an elves house. I used the Belle Papillon Kahuna Bundle and for the shield on the roof the middle size of the oft the Die Cut Set Elegant NestThe house is made of a chips roll and for the roof I did Cardstock curled up and covered with many small pieces of paper.
A corner of the squares was rounded and wiped with stamp ink. A few half beads, a miniature frame, some glitter and real moss make the house to a dreamy shelter for small elves.

Anjie - For this card I have used the paper pad from the Bella Papillon crafting kit. You can also buy the paper on it's own HERE. I have then stamped the flower from the Bella Fleur craft kit. You can also buy the stamp set on it's own HERE. I have then cut out a frame using the Elegant Nest set of 3 dies. I used the same die to cut out the flower and trimmed it down to size. I then added a bow and some flourish die cuts behind it.

Michelle - For this card I have used Lavender Tea Collection this collection is beautiful such gorgeous colours I have also used Polkadoodles Dies Ribbon Gift Frames and Corners these dies are just beautiful to use.
Scatty Jan use a die cut , so easy with the new range of Polkadoodles dies that are now available - The die I used is a doublet die , absolutely adoring these dies with matching stamps. The papers used are from the new collection and the mannequin is from the CD - Find all the goodies here.
Claire C with so many gorgeous new dies available from Polkadoodles choosing my dies was the real challenge here lol.  I've used papers, stamps and dies from the Belle Papillon Papercrafting Kit and added some flowers from the Bella Fleur Paper craft Kit to make this shabby chic card.

Bev here, I decided to make a birthday card for my Step Dad using the adorable Winston Download Collection and for the dies I used both the Super Sprigs and Ribbon/Gift Frames & Corners.

Lou: I've used the wonderful Belle Papillon and Bella Fleur stamp, paper and dies collections to create my card. Images coloured with pan pastels with a light glitter finish.
Gail - I've used the delicious Belle Papillon printable collection, available on CD-ROM or as a download, along with the Elegant Nest die and co-ordinating Belle Papillon stamp set and dies, Butterfly die and Elegant Flourish die.

Now onto the fabulous inspiration from the Design Team...
Tina: Today I designed for you a door hanger. Everyone likes to be undisturbed in the bathroom ...
Especially when one is looking for his teeth. I used the Image: "Where´s my Teeth?"
The background paper comes from the super cute, new set: "Belle Papillon Big Kahuna"
Included in this is not only the beautiful paper, but also embellishments, butterflies, rosettes, borders, flowers, sentiments and so much more. Just beautiful!
The door hanger is made of kraft paper, the design paper is printed on linen paper and around the hole above I added the flowers. The beautiful lady was colored with Polychromos.

I hope she could find her teeth now....

Tracy - Today I have used something new to me.... I bought this neat little bundle set Picknix 1 In the garden. It has a great bunting, butterflies, houses and a cool little fence. Loved playing and cutting out this collection. Great card for someone who has just moved house!

Bev here and I'm thinking New Beginnings. I coloured up Winter Time from Octavia Frosted Winter  and coloured her up with my pencils.

Anjie - So I used some of the fab new products that I have from Polkadoodles. For starters I used the paper pad and foliage dies from the Belle Papillon collection. I distressed the edges of the paper and then added some copper gilding polish. I also added some of the polish to all the die cuts. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out using the middle die in the Elegant Nesting set of 3 dies. I finally added some flowers from my stash.

Michelle - I have used Rose Budd Bundle 1 for this creation I have not used this collection before but I love it so I thought I would try one of the cottages in the bundle everything on my cottage comes in the Rose Budd Bundle 1

Scatty Jan - For this weeks project I have used some lush, lush, lush new products from Polkadoodles to make a mini dress album - take a look at all the wonderful goodies here

Claire C -  I love all Nikky's gorgeous collections but I nearly always colour an image for my cards so my something new is using elements from the fabulous new collection Belle Papillon to make this card. It was so quick and easy as I resized one of the pretty vintage tags, cut out some bunting and embellies and added a little bling, ribbon and a paper rose

Gail - For this weeks challenge, I've used the totally scrummy, delicious paper craft kit Belle Papillon, it has everything in it stamps, paper pad and co-ordinating dies and all for a great price. Just love, love this new release from Polkadoodles.

Lou: I have used the wonderful new stamps, dies and matching papers from the Belle Papillion and Bella Fleur collections to create a birthday card and notebook for a work colleagues up and coming birthday. Lots of embossing and inking fun ...

Anyway, let's get on with the show and see what the wonderful Design Team have for your inspiration this week...

Tracy - I made a rectangle/oval shaped card for this challenge. I used Paper, sentiment, and all cut outs you can see on this card from Winston Bear collection. Winston is raised over the layers giving him a real 3d look.

Katrina - For my rocker card I have used part of a sentiment, some papers and a digistamp from the fabulous Starfish and Sandcastles VIP XXL Collection. Rocco is coloured with Promarkers and I've added buttons and cloud die-cuts to finish.

Scatty Jan For my project this week I have used a little mixture . I have mainly used Winston Bear collection but also added a little of Picknix. I started with the scissors which is covered using papers from Winston , the scissors sit neatly on a little box which opens so handy for a treat. The tape measurse's , manaquin are from Picknix all other elements from Winston. I had a few bits left over so made a matching card

Bev here with my idea for anything but square. I decided to use one of the embellies from Starfish & Sandcastles I took it into my graphics programme, duplicated it and made my card blank then decorated it with lots of other goodies from the collection. Don't you just love the sentiment?

AnjieOn my card I've used the Oceania Clear Stamp set. I used the Whale and Whale tail to stamp a background out. I then created some mats and layers and stamped onto watercolour card with a versamark ink pad and used a clear embossing powder. When I heat set the images I then whooshed over them with a blue paint from my Gansai Tambi Watercolours paints. I then raised those up with 3D foam and there you are, all done. A really quick and simple card to make.

Anita - Hi there this week I played with Winnie hello from the gorgeous Winnie in Wonderland collection coloured with alcohol markers, added lots of embellies  and the fabulous sentiment qoutes from the cd.

Michelle  For my project I have used the Twiggy and Toots Collection  I have also used Winnie Fruit Punch Collection for some of the papers. I have coloured the image with Copic markers. The card base was cut out on my silhouette cameo.

Claire C: I've made a door hanger for my project using the adorable Lily Bug Love, she's such a cutie and so much fun to colour! Papers are from the same collections and I've coloured the lovely Lily with my Graph'it Markers. Lily is available here as a cd or if you can't wait to start printing she's available as a download here. If you just want the digi, it's called Lily Bug Sending love and you can find her here.

Lou: I have used "Dancing Queen" as my focal image and then one of the digi embellishments, clapper board, to create my card base. Both are from the Winnie Fruit Punch collection

Lovely creations to inspire you all with our Anything Goes challenge!

Have a great weekend everyone. Thanks for sharing your creations with us, we love coming to visit and appreciate you taking part in our challenges.

Week 18 - Polkadoodles Crafting - Things with Wings

Shop on Etsy

--------------------------------------------------------------

Happy Friday everyone! Our new challenge is
Things With Wings
You can make anything you like for the challenge, as long as it follows the theme.

You do not need to use Polkadoodles products to enter our challenges. Our rules are over there in the side bar ---->
You have until Noon, GMT, Friday 20th May to enter this challenge.
The winner of this challenge will receive a $10 gift voucher to the Polkadoodles download store.

Now let's see the inspiration for the challenge...

Claire C  I've had lots of stamping fun creating this card using some of the fab new Stamp Soup stamps! I just love toadstools and I couldn't resist making a fairy too. The staircase and backing papers are from the CD collection 'Magic Garden', the stamps are mostly from the Magic Garden stamp set with a couple from Little Kingdom. These new goodies sold like hot cakes on C&C but you can preorder yours here and here! Be warned though, these stamps are totally addictive

Ruth:  I've used the very sweet Lily Love Bug collection (available in either cd format or download) to make my card - I've used one of the pre coloured images, fussy cut it and then added two of the frames plus a sentiment.  Really quick and easy to make especially when you're on the last minute!

Katrina:  I've 'built' some flowers and a butterfly using the gorgeous stamps in the Lavender Tea Stamp Soup Collection and coloured everything in with Brushos. The sentiment is printed from the Lemonade Fizz CD.

Bev here. This week I combined the challenge subject with a birthday card for my hubby. Using Winnie Fruit Punch.  He does like to go over my cards with a fine tooth comb to see if he can guess how I made it. CD crafting doesn't have to be flat and one dimensional you know and when combined with layers, inks, ribbon & embossing you can make something really, quite special.

Anita -  . This week I have chosen to use Lemonade Fizz Stamp Soup Collection  and tried my hand at a little reverse stamping to make the wings , all coloured with alcohol markers and got busy with my scissors.

Anjie I've used images from the fab new Magic Garden CD. I've used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolour paints to colour them and the background in. I've printed the pots and toadstools a few times and decoupaged them up. The dragonflies are also cut separate and shaped and raised to give them a 3D effect. I've used a fine liner to draw the lines around the edge, layered it onto black card and used some raffia to finish it off.

Lou: I have used papers, stamps and embellishments from the wonderful "The All This ... For This kit" to create my card. Butterfly background created with the stamps, made in to panels and then layered on
to one of the backing papers. Sentiment and watch embellishment also from the same kit.

Lovely creations to inspire you all with our Things With Wings challenge!

Our winners of our Swirls and Flourishes challenge and our Feather in my Cap winners for using PD images (more details on this up top in the tabs section), will be announced next Friday.

Have a great weekend everyone.

Thanks for sharing your creations with us, we love coming to visit and appreciate you taking part in our challenges.

Week 14 - Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge - Floral Frenzy

Shop on Etsy

--------------------------------------------------------------

Happy Friday everyone! Our new challenge is
Floral Frenzy
So, lots of flowers, one flower, flowered papers, anything floral
You have until Noon, GMT, Friday 22nd April to enter this challenge.
The winner of this challenge will receive a $10 gift voucher to the Polkadoodles download store.

Did you enjoy the launch party over last weekend?
The new release Winnie Fruit Punch, was a great hit so make sure you check it out in the store now - use code FRUITY to save 10%
but hurry as it's only valid for a few more days!!!!....

You can buy individual digi stamps to colour, design sheets to print and cut, even smaller bundles to work with.  Of course you could also buy the whole collection bundle either as CD or download.

Now let's see the inspiration for the challenge...

Ruth:  I've used the very lovely Winnie Fruit Punch cd - I added one of the sentiments to the front of the topper, enlarged it then printed onto thick white card then cut out individual flowers to add around the edges, finishing the card off with half pearls and liquid pearls around the edge.

Anjie I have used the fabulous Lavender Tea download collection on my make. I've used lots and lots of flowers and butterflies and 2 word toppers. I've put them back to back on some straws so they look like flower stems. I've then wrapped some papers around the bottom of the bottle and added some ribbon. More details and photos on my blog.
Lou: I have used the Lavender Tea soup stamp set to create my card. All the flowers have been stamped and coloured with distress inks. I created the centre panel, framed it and added additional flowers to the side. The sentiment is from the same set too. More close up photos can be found on my blog.
Katrina: I have used the Winnie Sugar Sprinkles CD to make my card, starting with the pre-coloured version of the 'Just for You' digistamp.  I was really drawn to the paper that I've covered the card base with - I just love the fresh colours, and it matches up perfectly with some of the flowers on the CD.  I cut the flowers and the sentiment out with my Craft Robo and attached them with silicone glue and white wire for the stems. Is it weird that they remind me of lollipops? :D
Anita- I challenged myself to use the yummy Lavender Tea Stamp soup so everything you see on my make is done using this awesome set, Backing papers  were from the co-ordinating Lavender Tea Printable's Download sentiment was from the Twiggy & Toots Download collection.
Bev here with my take on floral frenzy. I used 'a lot' of the floral printed sheets from Lavender Tea, Cut, inked, shaped and layered up then placed around the beautiful sentiment which is also from the collection.
Claire C  I've used the fabulous Stamp Soup (Lavender Tea and Lemonade Fizz) stamps to create my flowers, stamping and embossing on lots of different papers from the Lavender Tea collection to make this little wall hanging.( you can also buy them as kits but they were sooooo popular they are now available on preorder, have a look here) I'm having so much fun with these stamps, I just can't stop playing with them lol
Beautiful creations to inspire you all with your floral challenge! WOW!!
