Hosea 5 (KJV)

10 The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound (contract, pledge): therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
11 Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.
12 Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.

13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
14 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.

Zephaniah 1 (KJV)

18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance  (elimination) of all them that dwell in the land.

Psalm 2 (KJV)

1 Why do the heathen (non believers) rage, and the people imagine a vain (arrogant, conceited) thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed (blessed), saying,
3 Let us break their bands (bond) asunder (divide, Disconnect), and cast away their cords (ties) from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision (disgrace, shame).
5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex (trouble) them in his sore displeasure.

10 Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Scriptures For Those Who Suffer With Anxiety, Part 3

1 Samuel 28 (KJV)
15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted (make {someone} worried or anxious.) me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.

Psalm 38 (KJV)
8 I am feeble (fragile, helpless) and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the disquietness  (worried or anxious.) of my heart.

9 Lord, all my desire is before thee; and my groaning is not hid from thee.
10 My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.

11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof  (unsympathetic, hard-hearted) from my sore; and my kinsmen (blood relatives) stand afar off.
12 They also that seek after my life lay snares (bait, entrapment, pitfall, noose, trick, booby trap) for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous (naughty, destructive) things, and imagine deceits all the day long.

13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.
14 Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs (disapproval, blame, criticism).
15 For in thee, O Lord, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.

Psalm 42 (KJV)
1 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.
2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?
4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.
5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted (worrisome or anxiousness.) in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance (facial expression).

11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted (worrisome or anxiousness.) within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance (facial expression), and my God.

Psalm 43 (KJV)
5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted (worrisome or anxiousness.) within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance (facial expression), and my God.

Proverbs 30 (KJV)
21 For three things the earth is disquieted  (worrisome or anxiousness.), and for four which it cannot bear:
22 For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat;
23 For an odious (extremely unpleasant; repulsive.) woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.

24 There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:
25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;
26 The conies are but a feeble (weak, frail) folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;
27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;
28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.

29 There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely (agreeable; suitable.)
 in going:
30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;
31 A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.
32 If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.
33 Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.

Job 21 (KJV)

13 They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave.
14 Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.
15 What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

16 Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me.
17 How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger.

30 That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.

Jeremiah 10 (KJV)

1 Hear ye the word which the Lord speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen (unbelievers), and be not dismayed (horrified) at the signs of heaven; for the heathen (unbelievers) are dismayed (alarmed) at them.

Makes me think how they were predicting the end of the world with 2012.

8 But they are altogether brutish (worldly, untamed) and foolish: the stock is a doctrine (universal law) of vanities (self-worship, narcissism).

10 But the Lord is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide (receive) his indignation(rage, fury).
11 Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.

12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion (observation).
13 When he uttereth his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend (soar) from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.

21 For the pastors are become brutish (worldly, untamed), and have not sought the Lord: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.

23 O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
24 O Lord, correct me, but with judgment (knowledge, wisdom, understanding); not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.

Romans 2 (KJV)

6 Who will render (give) to every man according to his deeds:
7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious (argumentative), and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation (resentment) and wrath,
9 Tribulation (suffering) and anguish (grief), upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 For there is no respect (favoritism) of persons with God.
12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law.

Proverbs 15 (KJV)

1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous (terrible) words stir up anger.

2 The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness.

3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness (hardheadedness) therein is a breach (break) in the spirit.

6 In the house of the righteous is much treasure: but in the revenues of the wicked is trouble.

7 The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.

8 The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

9 The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.

10 Correction is grievous (appalling) unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof (correction) shall die.

11 Hell and destruction are before the Lord: how much more then the hearts of the children of men?

12 A scorner (hypocrite)  loveth not one that reproveth (corrects) him: neither will he go unto the wise.

14 The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.

16 Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.

18 A wrathful (raging) man stirreth up strife (war): but he that is slow to anger appeaseth (quenches) strife (war).

19 The way of the slothful man is as an hedge of thorns: but the way of the righteous is made plain.

21 Folly (stupidity) is joy to him that is destitute (lacking) of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.

22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors they are established.

23 A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it!

24 The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.

26 The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination (curse) to the Lord: but the words of the pure are pleasant words.

27 He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house; but he that hateth gifts shall live.

28 The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.

What's not easy to do, train yourself to do....practice it...it is a requirement, not a choice for those who live for God. ~ Karmen

29 The Lord is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.

32 He that refuseth instruction despiseth his own soul: but he that heareth reproof (correction) getteth understanding.

33 The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
