the day after oscar

he had me at hello.

yes, i fell in love with the oscars again last night! the show was fun and what made even better was live chat with a bunch of other bloggers over at earl, the green guy's place! but seriously, miss daisy loved the show, i thought hugh jackman was a perfect host and, it was fun again!

i like falling in love again.

but now, i'm going to bed.
i'll see all ya'll later.

update 10.40 in the morning...

moving slowly, i've left some comments somewhere and haven't even answered all ya'll yet...

i will.
today.
i promise.

eventually.

1616 update

i feel like the peter finch character (howard beale) in network when he was being chasitzed by ned beatty's character (arthur jensen) after this morning's excursion with miss daisy...

You have meddled with the primal forces of nature, Mr. Beale, and I won't have it! Is that clear? ... That is the atomic and subatomic and galactic structure of things today! And YOU have meddled with the primal forces of nature, and YOU...WILL...ATONE!

yes, darlings, this is my life today.

and after so much fun last night.

*sigh*

  1. Well, looky here... I get to be first again!

    I'm on a roll....

I didn't watch any of the Oscars. Rarely do. But Hugh Jackman would be easy on the eyes.

  2. Lady Savannah,

Like Ms. Ponita, I didn't watch the Oscars. I am glad you had fun and fell in love again. Someday you'll have to clue me on Miss Daisy.

I don't know why but hearing you say, "i like falling in love again" makes me envious; as if I missed something good.

Sleep well Savannah, I'm going to bed too.

  3. Good to see the underdog sweep the board.
Brad and your woman- two gobshites.
The state of them. I think they're living in a time warp or something beyond reality.

  4. If ever an Oscar should be awarded for good looks, you're name would truly be on it.

  13. The oscars have passed me by completely. I'm so out of touch with popular culture. I would prefer Steve Martin as host. He's a real silver fox - what I imagine Jimmy will be like in many years time ;)

  14. I love the Oscars but never get to see them live. I'll have a look at the website and see if they have highlights later.

I guess nurses and teachers just can't compare to Hugh Jackman.
