Still on the hunt

A lot has happened since I last posted, some good, some bad, some totally out of my hands! (That would be "45" and his pissant flock of jackasses in the White House.)

(How will we ever be able to apologize to the world for this monstrosity?)

But I digress.

On March 12th, The Doc celebrated his birthday (44, a very luck number) out in L.A. with the always lovely and charming Dancing Lady! I don't have access to a photo right now (sighing for my martini drenched MAC), but y'all know what he looks like, I think. Anyway, he's older and somehow I feel as if I'm getting younger every day!! (Perhaps it's dementia)

St. Patrick's Day was a 3 day celebration here in our little town. We didn't bother going downtown. These days, St. Patrick's is better celebrated from the comfort of my living room.

I'll check in again soon. I miss all y'all, but reading y'all's blogs on my iPhone is damned difficult!

  1. Some holiday festivities are best celebrated in the comfort of home--you know where the drinks are, the bathroom's clean with no lines, and there's less chance of getting arrested for indecent exposure and public intoxication... ;) Also, you don't have to worry about traffic and parking. And your bed's nearby or you can at least pass out anywhere in the house without any judgment from others--except maybe family and friends, but they should be used to your partying ways by now. Cheers!

  2. "martini drenched MAC", ah yes, explains one thing or another ... but it does not explain how such a young mother can have kids of this age - ?

    Best wishes to The Doc.

  3. Happy 44th Doc!

You don't need to apologize to the world, we all seem to be afflicted with the same disease. I hope it's the death throws of the old colonial patriarchal regime, but I guess we'll see.

I hope you at least put green food colouring in your water tank! but I can't blame you for not leaving the house. xoxoxo

  4. Were you, like, 12! when you had him? Seems impossible that you have a 44 year old kid! But a very Happy Birthday to him nonetheless.

Is your Mac in detox? Is it salvageable? So sorry for the techno issues. Miss you! xoxoxo

  5. Trying to keep up with things is just as challenging with a mini "eye" pad taking all my time to actually see what I've written... Forget blog posts... I can't even work out how to post pics anymore... I'm feeling your pain😬
