Data

  • The matchmaking range is 12.1. The game's matchmaking system looks at a team's average matchmaking range value, and matches them against a team with a similar average.
  • The ink consumption is 0.8% per shot, allowing the user to fire 125 shots on a full ink tank.
    • Starting from a full ink tank, the user can fire for about 10.42 seconds before running out of ink.
  • When firing continuously, it shoots a bullet every 5 frames (12 shots per second).
  • When firing from humanoid form, the first shot takes 3 frames to come out. When firing from swim form, the first shot takes 12 frames to come out.
  • The interval between firing the weapon and being able to enter swim form or use a sub weapon is 3 frames.
  • When firing while moving, the player's movement speed is set to 0.072 units per frame.
  • After firing, there is a 20 frame cooldown before the ink tank starts refilling.
  • Each shot has a base damage of 28 and minimum damage of 14.
  • If a shot is in the air for more than 4 frames after being fired, it will lose about 0.88 damage every frame until it reaches 14 damage at frame 20.
  • The bullet hitbox for collisions with players has a radius of 0.285 units.
  • The bullet hitbox for collisions with the environment has a radius of 0.2 units.
  • Shots cannot ever deviate from the inner reticle while on the ground.
  • Shots cannot ever deviate from the inner reticle while in the air. The outer reticle does not expand after jumping.
  • Shots initially travel straight at a rate of 4.0376 units per frame for 2 frames. Shots travel straight for 8.0752 distance units.
    • After that, the shot's velocity is set to 1.6289 units per frame if it is not already lower than the listed value, and it loses 36% of its speed every frame (including the first frame after it stops traveling straight). Once the shot velocity decreases below a certain threshold, it will begin to be slowed less and fall faster.
  • The effective range is about 10.07 units.
    • This number may vary at different firing angles.
  • There are a total of 6 different droplet patterns that a shot can create.
  • Droplets spawn about 9.5 units apart.
    • When a droplet falls at the player's feet, it falls about 1.15 units in front of the player.
  • A maximum of 2 droplets can be spawned each shot.
  • Droplets have a maximum inking radius of 1.428 units.
    • Droplets that fall at the player's feet have a maximum inking radius of 2.0608 units.
  • Droplets have their length multiplied by 1.2 if they fall from a height less than 3 units.
    • Droplets have their length multiplied by a number in between 1.2 and 1 if they fall from a height between 3 and 10 units.
    • Droplets have their length multiplied by 1 if they fall from a height more than 10 units.
  • When a shot lands on a floor within 1.1 units of the user, it will have a maximum inking width of 2.19.
    • When a shot lands on a floor more than 1.1 units away from the user, it will have a maximum inking radius of 1.77.
  • When a shot lands on a floor at an angle under 10 degrees relative to the floor, it will have its maximum inking length multiplied by 2.02.
    • When a shot lands on a floor at an angle between 10 and 35 degrees relative to the floor, it will have its maximum inking length multiplied by a number in between 2.02 and 1.18.
    • When a shot lands on a floor at an angle higher than 35 degrees relative to the floor, it will have its maximum inking length multiplied by 1.18. (1.01 if it falls more than 10 units before landing)
  • When a shot hits a wall, it will have an inking radius of 1.56 units.

Quotes

Sheldon's Introduction

Well, well! The makers of the Splash-o-matic keep making more splashes in the weapon-development space! And, well, more Splash-o-matics. This one boasts "improved texture" and "high-quality paint." At least, according to the marketing materials I received from Barazushi. Oh, and it's called the Splash-o-matic GCK-O! Sorry, I've been trying to reduce the number of times I say "Splash-o-matic," but I do need to say the full name at least once. I'd be remiss not to say Toxic Mist and Ink Storm as well, since those are the sub and special that come with this kit. Used in conjunction, those can slow opponents to a crawl, leaving you free to pick them off with your high-precision main weapon...that shall not be named again.

The Splash-o-matic GCK-O is a high-durability weapon made for rainforest environments coming from Barazushi in the Splatlands Collection. Control your opponents' movement with Toxic Mist and Ink Storm.
